The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained.

But that Life dude is really awesome. Better luck next time master. I know he will have an answer soon for that kind of play. sorry for my bad english. The King of Marines is closer to his subjects, he embraces their fate, lives when they live and dies when they die, he's not one to be called God, immortal and almighty, and who only watches them from above. Marines don't worship the King. He commands, and they follow.

Many people would consider MVP vs Squirtle Great. IMO, best finals of last year. Plenty also would consider DRG vs Genius great. It proves your point further yes, but just wanted to say, MVP vs Squirtle? GREAT finals. Edit: Looks like it's been said already. I should read before I post. Seriously, that hold on game 6? The vortex in game 5? Both amazing. (I could have mixed up which game was which). The 11/11 rax was the perfect way to end it IMO.

MVP v Squirtle is one of those, lot of so-so games, then one of THE moments of WoL with the Battlecruiser/Archon toilet combo. So sick, so good

Deal with it. MVP vs Squirtle were great finals, u could argue DRG vs Genius for that aswell.

He produced good synergy with Total Biscuit, which is another really weird thing. I think the strong caster performances were a big reason, why this event attracted and kept so many viewers, despite the foreigner performances. I hope the quality of broadcasting will go up even more, but this MLG is a strong contender for best tournament of the year already. Husky TotalBiscuit good synergy? What? Since when is yelling play by plays at the same time great synergy?

People give Husky alot of hate..but the guy brought a ton of people into SC2+TL (including me). Sure i dont watch his videos now, but i definitely think he is an important guy in the industry. I also like his casting

It proves that the balance is still unclear, and we must wait a bit more. Neither speed medievacs nor mines seemed to have any effect on life's muta ling baneling. I'm happy to see that the pure raw skill of life was enough to take the win. Flash is a mechanical beast, but he has flaws and life exploited them. Leenock was clearly underperforming, he has not enough experience yet. His skill is not that significantly below life. Just wait a bit on that. The other Zergs can be ignored for obvious reasons. The overall zerg winrate in this tournament was to be expected. Also MC clearly showed that his strategic mindset is vastly superior to the other protosses who have clearly not made the transition to HotS yet. That was beautifully illustrated by partings frustrated "super imba gg". Apart from life, MC was the most interesting storyline here. His new builds easily dealt with the "OP". i was going to write the exact same after finishing the vods. thanks for saving me some time and lets hope that bliz wont listen to the balance whiners and nerf terran too hard as they did in wol.

Zerg is always the harder race to master, it needs time, and protoss is the easiest to master, but not much to improve, except experience. Zerg players will improve significantly over next couple months. And won't expect protoss to improve too much during the same period, and terran will always be there, but still feels that they will fell hard in TvZ once zerg players improve. The thing which makes zerg strong is the number of larva, not some so called imba units.

Then I pop on the MLG website for the VODS and they are all terrible quality... edit/ nvm answered above The MLG website is using adaptive streaming (i.e. automatic quality switching). The VODs may start at a low quality, but if the bandwidth between you and their servers is high enough, then it will get better quickly. When I watched the finals earlier today, I was at first dismayed at the sight of the pixel soup, but after half a minute it had gone up to a very decent quality that looked like 540p or so.
