The usual: Don't flame casters or players. Don't discuss balance in this or any LR thread. Don't call your fellow posters idiots. Be excited, happy and entertained.

MKP mass marines to counter mass banelings before it was cool lol. Go watch MKP vs Kyrix

As for the tournament: Innovation really blew my mind in this tournament. I don't think he made a single mistake vs Leenock or Rain. His second game vs Flash was the most amazing thing I've seen in SC2. People really need to pay attention to how perfectly he played that game. And I mean PERFECT. I also think he was nervous vs Flash which is why he lost his tanks in game 3 and lost the medivac in game 4. I honestly believe if he overcame his nerves he could have beaten Flash 3-0 and Life 4-0. His 9 games prior to game 1 vs Flash he played the most flawless SC2 I think we have ever seen.

I think after seeing the gsl and now mlg innovation series, innovation is the single strongest Terran player in the world right now. His play in his gsl series was probably the most sophisticated play i have ever seen in sc2.

I heard innovation had one of the highest win rates on the korean ladder. I would agree though even though innovation lost to flash I think innovation is clearly one of the best terrans right now I think as good as mvp or say flash. I wonder how he would have done verse life in the final

Agreed, I feel like innovation would do better against Life since his play is quite adaptive just like Life. It would be a much closer nail biting match

That's the tough part of single elim. You can be the second best player, if you meet the best one in the first round, you have the same result as the worst player. A single elimination tournament doesn't really say a lot about anyone who didn't win it all.

With a decent seeding system, this should be alleviated. Not to mention that there are so many good players to have in your tournament, the chance of having shitty finals is pretty low*

Those games were all mediocre. Even the game with the vortex. It was like twenty minutes of no action and turtling then it ended. Game 7 was the only legitimately good game and even that one wasn't special.

you call mvp vs life great and mvp vs squirtle good? umm...can't agree with that. mvp vs life was can mvp do enough economic damage with hellions to not have his mech push stopped by bl/infestor with the timing for 7 games.

mvp life and drg mma were both mostly mediocre games, as was mvp squirtle to be honest. there were a few good ones that made it memorable, though

The best games so far are.

Jiakji vs Leenock( The game on Taldarim Altar)
DRG vs MMA( Only the last game on Shakuras Plateau)
MMA vs Gumiho(Everyone should know this sick TvT)
sC vs Nestea.

Others are all either decent or meh.

All the best games are either TvT or TvZ.
Play your best

There's vods to every single map played, what are you talking about

The reason for not releasing replays has nothing to do with protecting builds, for a long time now

Mvp vs life really wasn't that good. It was at the height of tvz balance issues and both players made a toon of mistakes

if u watch flash vs jaedong games in BW i think you change your mind, rine micro in BW is the hardest micro ever... and flash was a monster... not the King but the God of Marines.

Don't know what happened to flash in this final, i think he could have won that. But that Life dude is really awesome. Better luck next time master. I know he will have an answer soon for that kind of play. sorry for my bad english.
This is the way

Will MLG upload the VODs and replays? Only saw a few selected VODs in their youtube page.
