The faster and more focused player won here - there is no doubt. There is literally nothing that speed medievacs did in this game that would have changed the outcome.

Okay let me elaborate. Blizzards argument for the new ability is that drops are figured out and are no longer viable. But they want to see drops so they buffed medivacs. Now Flash showcased that terrans can still dismantle their opponents completely with normal medivac drops if timed correctly and executed by one of the best. Looking forward to players adapting their drop defense as the tournament goes on. This would make sense if it was a HoTS terran was play a WoL Protoss. Protoss also got some defensive units/spells to work with. We get two units that can't attack air, one that comes extremely late in the game, and a spell that adds a 13 range photon cannon. That's really not much extra drop defence. You got recall... So you either... recall against a small drop --> pick up and leave in the 5 second recall stun recall against a doom drop --> lose army in the 5 seconds recall stun

I think this sums up these ridiculous arguments quite well.

Rain didn't play well these games, it's like you are saying a terran should not ever be able to beat a protoss with drop, wtf? Rain and Flash were both doing quite bad in proleague (relative to their standards), a protoss more in form could have beaten Flash so what's your point. Two games ain't enough to prove anything anyways. ya seriously, rain had major 1 hotkey amove syndrome in those games AND fucked up during the first drop which snowballed the whole game
it was simply rain playing bad at that moment in the game. could have happened to anyone

Sure drops got stronger, but don't act like drop defense didn't get stronger too.. The difference, though, is that medivac speed requires no investment from the player while spending energy is a sacrifice.
And blink made no sacrifice while stim took HP off. Should blink have costed HP as well?

Well tbh, you do have to research blink at another building and as far as i know (correct me if i am wrong) medivac boosters are completely free without any research required. Maybe make it a techlab upgrade or something instead if it has to be nerfed.
