I heard in an interview he doesn't really like swarm hosts since they doesn't fit well in his style :-/ Not sure if we're going to see swarmhosts.

Well but that's what it is about, the game has to be balanced around Flash, Rain and Roro.
Now Flash with these medivacs is not balanced. And you know that how? Are you some kind of oracle who just KNOWS that people wont be able to defend these drops once they learn to deal with it? Btw im considering playing the lottery, can you inbox me the winning numbers please? Well everyone basically agreed on this after the last rain vs flash games in code A. Sorry I never win a thing and don't play the lottery^^. "Everyone basically agreed", well that's enough to convince me. The amazingly insightful hivemind called something imba, they must be correct. Okay let me elaborate. Blizzards argument for the new ability is that drops are figured out and are no longer viable. But they want to see drops so they buffed medivacs. Now Flash showcased that terrans can still dismantle their opponents completely with normal medivac drops if timed correctly and executed by one of the best. So if Rain had no chance defending it without speedboost imagine it in hots. That's what "everyone agreed on" but let's just wait and see and enjoy the games as they are right now. Looking forward to players adapting their drop defense as the tournament goes on. This would make sense if it was a HoTS terran was play a WoL Protoss. Protoss also got some defensive units/spells to work with. I know right, protoss has the ability to transform any nexus they want into a planetary fortress that shoots air and has more range than a siege tank, which they can instantly recall a large chunk of their army on to if they have the energy for it (which they should). Sure drops got stronger, but don't act like drop defense didn't get stronger too.. The difference, though, is that medivac speed requires no investment from the player while spending energy is a sacrifice. And blink made no sacrifice while stim took HP off. Should blink have costed HP as well? Shit, burrow even makes your roaches able to heal hp quicker, clearly this must be fixed asap. patch 2.1 Zerg units now take 1 damage per sec while burrowed because of contaminated ground water

Hmm you cant compare. Terran got these offensive options to multitask where as zerg dont got them. As a zerg you just have to defend in all locations and now with the new medivac-speed you dont even loose medivacs. So terran is doing damage for free and pins his opponent back.
The basic problem is that terran has units with a huge cost-efficiency potential (when controlled well) where as zerg has units you basically throw away and hope you deal well. Terran scales better with player skill and with the new HOTS abilitys this will even increase. The one single unit you coult have been really cost efficient was the infestor, but it got nerfed heavily.

Game 1 Mvp got a lead early on with a widow mine drop, killing like 10 workers. He then attacked Grubby on three fronts with speedivacs, and Grubby couldn't deal with it.
Game 2 Mvp got perfectly timed turret to deal with DT opening from Grubby. Attacked with 4 medivacs and bio and just loaded up into main when Grubby tried to defend in front of natural with zealot/archon. Mvp then snipes the main nexus.
Mvp gathered up for a second attack a bit later, denied the third of Grubby and just overwhelmed him.

Ret used them decently against MC. But, MC looked like a lost child in a pedophile factory.

Oh that was his thread? O.O aaaah
Mn Well here's a question for you guys, how few swarm hosts can you have and be effective? I get the sense swarm hosts are something that 2-4 kinda meh but 5+ starts getting very powerful.
.... That's a lot of gates for grubby.
Stephano doing all the small things.

Stephano's hair looks so red at the bottom lol, died red and has huge red light on it XD Bottom pictures remind me of Deathnote...
I'm really hoping Grubby can take out Stephano, I feel like Stephano can potentially get some wins against the Korean Terrans while Grubby will almost certainly lose against both of them.

I don't think grubby can win this...

Watching this somoene is going to have to tell me how MC didn't advance I think artosis had the best analysis.
PartinG is going to be scary.

He had extremely slick timings, scouting, and micro (read: drops) and made Grubby look really bad despite Grubby not actually playing that bad. Thank you allll very much. :DD I'm getting prematurely excited for Mvp getting Terran nerfed into oblivion again just by being too smart.

Wow grubby time warps are complete shit. You're supposed to put them behind the roaches so the zealots kill them.. Not poorly on top of them. You'd think he'd have better micro.

Okay that settles it, Grubby has to do something illegal to beat Stephano.

Stephano going to hold o_O

thats why Stephano is still the best foreigner

why is stephano not building a macro hatch in the main?
