make - a - spine?

have you taken your medication today?

also, first won kas 2-0, guess observers are too good Oo

But a spinecrawler costs 100 minerals! and the drone is 50! and I lose infinite potential minerals because that one drone could be mining all game

Please tell me Ret won't get to play Nerchio first next round.....that would be so anti climatic.

Funny how some zergs think, isn't it?

i don't think mines being too strong were the problem that game. ret could have squeezed more out of his attack, which was a big gamble that didn't pay off. after that i think yoda was too far ahead anyways.

gj to ret though, super strong showing in groups even though it's still the beta. hope to see more of his zvp in the playoffs.

so funny how forum terrans defend themselves lol, every pro terran (even yoda 2 minutes ago) openly admit that terran is hugely favored against zerg right now and the mine is only one of the problems

hmm not sure how i feel about that game. don't know if it was good play from yoda, poor play from ret, or straight up imbalance. it was ugly and that defense/ contain seemed way too easy with only one mine and two reapers. Guess we'll see how it plays out in the coming days/ weeks.

Yoda had a great hold against Ret's baneling bust, and he expanded behind it. Because he went for a baneling bust, Ret's tech and detection was behind, and thus he couldn't deal with mines very well.

Makes sense I guess, while technically well executed on Yoda's end, I just feel like the one mine at home against the ling baneling aggression was too strong. I don't want to see a hundred all ins all the time, but I want them to be an option. In the later stages of WoL it felt like unless the terran was going to 11/11 rax, there just weren't any all ins the zerg couldn't scout/ hold. They didn't always do it, but I feel like with good scouting they shouldn't ever be surprised. I don't want to see the widow mine rush become the six queen build and just make all ins a near impossibility. Again, way too early to say, just something I'd like to see developed in the future ^^

matches in ro12 are randomly drawn (always a 2nd vs a 3rd though, and pretty sure you cant play the guy from your own group), so chance for nerchio vs ret is 1/3. I bet its going to be ret vs snute/tlo though

Nearly as funny as forum zergs like you that do similar things on WoL.

I agree a spine is very helpful, but it's frustrating to put a spine down and have the reapers LOL and jump up some other cliff and continue harassing.
Like Tinkerbelle, I leave behind a sparkly residue.

Oh, it is random. For a minute I thought it was 2A-3B, 2B-3A, etc.

zergs could hold 11/11s even if they scouted really late except on a couple maps where you can bring 6-7 scvs and surround your marines in a corner within range of your building bunker.

I think TLO has a good shot. Pretty sure he's been on HotS for a while, and he has been in form for a long time now.
