And the primary goal of a competitor is to win. It's foolish to willingly give up on the strategy that can give you easier wins. | ||

But a huge factor might be, that we play on WoL maps right now. I think it HotS maps need to be way more open, to create better chances for zerg to surround. in the last game, sniper hat nearly no chance to make a good flank move happen onto seeds army, and that might've been the reason, he had no chance to hold. | ||

And the spore just instantly died + queen xD double proxy stargate and 5 oracles... if Sniper figured it out he could have easily smashed it and Seed would have been absolutely dead. 2-3 spores and a queen wipe that out and then it's GG, you just have to scout it or scout your opponents base. Sniper should have known something was up, he had a overlord spying on the front of the base, saw the third gas and that the gateway wasn't a warpgate yet(Was super delayed because of star gate investment.) Scouting has become extremely important in HotS.. It was risky to not scout in WoL it's suicidal to not scout in HotS. | ||

From what i've seen Zerg is probably underpowered atm, it's what you read in every korean interview as well (even though some of them of course haven't played HotS enough). Not sure about the balance between the other races though. Given that Terran is the race that always were only really good in hands of the top koreans i guess it's natural they're pretty OP at the moment given that those haven't played enough to see how imba Terrans are in their hands. | ||
