Bogus did the same thing - attack fast, upgrade steadily, expand slowly and trade well. Stephano ![]() If i recall Sc did that a lot. I remember he simply kept swarming marines against Losira without an end and in the end Losira simply got overwhelmed.

It's such a shame that a lot of people seems to think all in=bad player...at least all in games aren't as boring as turtle ones If Terran doesn't all in or cheat opponent that he will all-in, I think Terran has no chance to win with the same level.

Do a allin every now and then, but cheesing 3 out of 5 games is sad to see. If there is a major hole in someone's play, why not abuse the hell out of it?

The surprise factor and also Naniwas massive will to suceed at that time brought him that far, still I would imagine Naniwa to sit there at home right now with a big grin on his face. Honestly qualifying for code S ro8 with kinda favorable groups, and proceeding to lose to an unknown zerg player in the TSL (JohnnyRecco) right after is almost worse than racking up like 200k$ off tourneys wins and losing to a ro4 last season code S kespa terran.

The terrans basically needs to stifle the zerg's eco before it gets out of hand. Did you see Bomber's games by chance? I mean in general there's definitely an advantage for Zergs in the later game if they aren't harassed or pressured that's obvious sure, but game 2 was more than just the Zerg late game advantage. Stephano beat Innovation in virtually every catergory. Superior macro, superior multitasking, superior army movement and scouting, superior compositions, unbelievable creep spread that was almost impossible to check. I mean yea Zerg has a nice late game advantage but I'd love to see Stephano try and trounce Bomber or Gumiho the way he slaughtered Innovation in game 2. Their late game play is far superior IMO.

Another player known for doing it for a time was Bomber during his initial "surge". Though this was basically also at the time sC was making semi finals. Fuck I miss sC. Most potential I'd seen in a newcomer since Leenock at the time, and then he bam'd to poor TvT into lung collapses =(

Can we just call him the best foreigner and leave it at that? it was always pretty unlikely in realistic terms, but potentially, if everything went right for him and he brought his absolute A game.. guess we'll never find out in WoL ![]()

(points from 2011) Yes, they did use the entire 2011 points for S1 2012 group selections. It is going to be DRG, Life, MC, Squirtle if they do it the same way.

Protoss with sentries before getting colossi. Zerg with lots of lings and banes. It takes 7 banelings to kill 1 marauder with equal upgrades... I don't think it's a gimmick, it's a control play. Bogus had the economy to take a third out of that attack. It was a high eco Polt style attack.
