His late game doesnt seem very good at times Ahhh ok thanks. Hopefully that'll improve with the new training methods Hots opens up, that's always been a bit of a weakspot of his. I have a feeling Taeja will come first, but it could be Soulkey if Taeja's wrists are a bit meh still. I know what you mean. I always try to be as optimistic as possible when Nestea plays, but in the back of my head I couldn't really see him beating DRG, MKP or Life. So glad to see he's in good enough shape to destroy MKP, and hopefully he can make it out of his group. I'm desperate for Nestea's 4th title.

MVP yes, but Taeja no. I've never been impressed with Taeja and he was only good for 2 months last summer. Life is 7-0 against taeja recently and hero is like 7-0 against him too. MKP's tvz is terribad these days, but taeja's isn't any better, but mkp's tvp is far superior than taeja who has always had bad tvp. MKP destroyed hero in iron squid, and taeja has gotten dominated by hero a lot recently with the games not even being close. MKP has always been the better player than taeja and still is today, it's just he loses all his tvz but still wins tvp and tvp pretty well.

Life's just on fire. | ||

Probably the favorite even, unless Taeja is anywhere back to normal o.O;

But he wasn't a thinking player, and his decisionmaking was always poor. The terran players who are still good today, like Mvp and TaeJa, are all great thinkers, able to reinvent themselves, all having great decisionmaking. Mvp is the ultimate example, not abusing a specific metagame, or having metagame luck (As so many players have had over the years), but reinventing the metagame and thinking on a very high level about the game. That is not exactly true. Taeja had a brief period when he was dominating zerg through very greedy play. Once he got figured out by Life in Gsl, his TvZ win rate dropped. Only "cerebral" player that somehow gets around the #1 terran problem these days (lack of options, timings dont work so you have to play risky and greedy to match zerg macro) is Mvp. All other terrans are doing greedy play because going 2 rax, or marine helion medivac, or 2 factory helion is very all in and doesnt really allow transition.
