You coin flip is all. Blink + expo loses to a million things and you won't even know about it until you get scouting done. What if your opponent goes Nexus first?

Serious question, how fast can you get an observer to the other side of arkanoid from the time the game starts? Also if it turns out he'd not 4 gating but expanding or going stargate or whatever how far behind can you be? I think it's a clever build, I'm just wondering if it's worth it to always prepare for the possibility of it.

After all, EG-TL do have over 2+ years of experience over their opponents. But, I'm not too sure because they sent their best line up against KT and got all killed.

At least I'm pretty sure about that.

EG-TL should just stick with putting out the most obvious players. They overestimate their coaching abilities and underestimate their good players. Huk, Thorzain and Puma will generally be free wins. They're not the awesome snipes the coaches think they are. It's great when they get the occasional win, but using them so much is just throwing games for no reason.

If map pools consisted only of stuff in which PvP wasn't potentially a clusterfuck from the very beginning we'd have a pretty sad looking map pool. The other maps aren't too bad either they just require being approached carefully. I like that they're experimenting, but they need to be ready to scrap them if they don't work out and almost all of them have obvious holes in their design figured out by now.
