Man just 30 seconds earlier and Mvp would have won this. Or 30 seconds later and he would have lost. Tense games.

I feel like Parting came out better in that just because of the follow up.

I agree, mothership vortex wouldn't have helped hero at all because a competent zerg can split his broodlords

Not really, Leenock had his Broodlords exposed so many times , Hero didn't pick up on it. Leenock didn't even split them.

Also splitting Broodlords is a lot more impractical than other units because they move super slowly.

Yes, that's how sad it is that Leenock didn't split them despite the danger of a vortex. That's how laughable PvZ is

Hero should have lost that game when his army was obliterated but zerg mid game army sucks ass so he had to tech to broodlords and a game that should have ended after hero's failed 3 base push took another 20 minutes. Protoss wins pvz just as much as zerg stop complaining.

If you think hero outplayed leenock and deserved the win you are way wrong.

It's not because the midgame army sucks. Leenock had to sacrifice drones to fend off the push. He didn't want to take the risk, cause frankly, if you can get infestor bl for a confirmed win, why not? I love it when zergs try to perpetuate the false rumour of zerg midgame being weak. And Protoss wins just as much? You mean only the top few protosses? And only through 2 or 3 base allins? Losing automatically in the late game? Good balance.

He doesn't mean Zerg can't win midgame - he means that when a Protoss goes Colossus you have ONE choice for composition and that is a fact. THAT is why Zerg steers towards end game because basically every game they have to defend a huge all-in or go up against Colossi. It feels weak (lack of options).

I have seen COUNTLESS games of ling/roach infestor corrupter vs collosi. And what, do mutas suck now?

infestor broodlord is just the easiest, doesn't mean it's the only option

God I love Parting... those defensive storms literally turn games around. And that perfect shift blink... omg I love his style. Just looks so cool.

It's not optimal, the only time I ever go that composition is if it's a sloppy game where Protoss is making a heavy timing and you don't have your hive completing any time soon.

Mvp goes for 1rax expand while PartinG goes for a cycore expand. They stay pretty standard for a while, with PartinG going robo and Mvp teching up to starport. PartinG goes into a twilight council and forge while Mvp's stim nears completion. PartinG starts +1 armor and blink while Mvp Mvp's +1 attack is halfway done already. Nothing happens for a while.

There's a small skirmish in the middle, with pretty nice micro from PartinG's blink stalkers. Charge is on the way, as are templars. PartinG takes his third but apparently Mvp is ahead in supply. Mvp pulls his SCVs and tries to hit a pre-storm all-in timing!

PartinG cancels his third base and tries to delay until storm is ready. The SCVs melt but Mvp's army supply is much higher than PartinG's. Some nice storms allow PartinG to hold! Funnily enough both end on even economies since Mvp has 25 SCVs + mules and PartinG on 31 probes. Upgrades are also even too. Huge engagement into stabilised game, haha.

Some blink stalkers defend Mvp's drop and Mvp tries to move in again, but are stopped by storms. Both are still on 2 base. PartinG tries to move out but Mvp has a good position for the center high ground. PartinG now has his 3rd nexus building.

Mvp keeps poking in, but PartinG has a great defense and Mvp has to GG out!

Sick PvT, classic PartinG.
