I'm pretty sure the title will have to go to DRG, Life, Parting or Leenock. Life made his breaktrough only fairly late in the year, though. Leenock and Parting are not GSL champions. If DRG wins this, the title has to go to him - the other three can really be considered only if they take this title.
He might not be the king of the world on this very day, but put him in an important match and he will more than likely stomp anyone, even if terran is at the biggest disadvantage any race has ever been in statistically since the beginning of SC2 history. MVP is the king. MVP is SC2!
Leenock looking strong, but I wouldn't count out Life, Sniper or DRG for this one!

I guess you have graphs to point to while I have not, so you win that discussion by default, but TvZ was around 60-40 without counting the GSTL (Edit: http://i.imgur.com/h2Z27.png. [and boy did zergs enjoy trashing terrans in this seasons gstl]) for the last three (!) months or so. Im sorry to even remotely make this around balance though, my bad entirely.
