Starting page 57, any tangent that can be construed as SC2 vs BW will be bannable |

Funny that Rain and Bogus are the ones keeping KeSPa somewhat relevant. There are way more than those 2 keeping KeSPa relevant, whether you like it or not. Not really. Talking about the big BW guys. FlaSh is kind of decent, nothing impressive JaeDong, Bisu, Stork, Fantasy are all not any good, are they? They are rather laughable. Rain is the player that can consistently beat top players, and Bogus looks at least promising.
Mid-tier code S isnt something I wouldnt call unimpressive. I havnt seen enough of Stork to comment but I belive hes doing okay so not at all laughable and JD and Fantasy are both in up/downs with a solid shot at code S. Players who have moments of greatness combined with moments of horror are the most dangerous players because if they put it together you are looking at a monster.
Edit: I would say Bisu is sort of disapointing but have some faith in the guy. As long as its not an OSL he will be just fine.

How come Genius still doesn't belong to a team? He's still pretty good, can make top 3 in a lot of teams.

I dont get it, people have been saying for years that sc2 macro is super easy, but when the people they salivate over cant do it competently its suddenly because they were trying (and failing) to do something else. Aggressive strats do work in sc2, multi tasking does work in sc2, playing cheesy does work in sc2.

Oh hey, it's that build I do when I roll my 6th straight ZvP

So in fact Fantasy even if he played intelligently but put mediocre macro would be crushed in SC2 circumstance where lining up your economy with timing will trump any intelligence. User was warned for this post what is this notion that we do not apparently understand? Where people could play bad macro vs players with perfect macro in BW because they could task those players on different fronts. In SC2 macro has to perfectly lined up with anything you do otherwise you will fail. So players who had tendency not to prioritize macro but aggresive play in BW like Fantasy will have to prioritize macro play before anything else. The best counter-example to this is to watch bomber, in particular the recent bomber vs polt series Bomber has the cleanest macro, but polt knows how to engage better
I just got a Deja-Vu. I have seen this before, this exact argument, in another LR. I think it was a few months ago. I'm not quite sure but I think bgx was actually involved as well. This is really freaking me out.

3 base Roach allin at 20 Drones?

Code A is actually quite stacked, stop trashing players for not being at code S.

Another sad day for Protoss :/ Nothing about balance though, Keen and Gumiho are excellent players and I'm counting on a win for Curious! Hoping for atleast HerO and Squirtle in the next season, maybe even one or two of MC, sOs, Genius, Younghwa and First (didn't watch his games today, were they bad?)..

I simply tried to put the thought I BELIEVE Top wanted to showcase, though i probably sounded to agressive doing so. Nevermind that.

The only matchup I've seen Bomber crush face harder than Polt is TvP. Polt's TvT is incredible and his TvZ is great too.

Not to mention that good strategies can absolutely overcome macro deficits in SC2. Looking at you, immortal/sentry and BL/infestor. Of course you're gonna have to macro well to capitalize on advantages you're trying to gain with a build but that should be standard for any decent player.

I like how everyone only focuses on his macro and ignores his superb micro and multitasking. He had great splits, great maurader micro, great harassment, and great multitask micro- other than game 3 where he had literally no units back at home. He did all the little things like moving small pockets of units to snipe infestors and keeping his marauders in front to soak damage. Whenever roro counter-attacked, fantasy was microing on multiple fronts. If you think he sucks, then find me 5 esfi terrans who can multitask and micro as well as fantasy can.
