Tonight immediately following Rain vs Flash in the MLG Tournament of Champions, we will be hosting a Heart of the Swarm Free-For-All. Tune in to majorleaguegaming.com as 8 Pros go battle it out in the Heart of the Swarm Beta at approximately 00:30 GMT (+00:00).
After. Right after the NASL one TB tweeted his enjoyment of the FFA and said they should do them at every event. Doesn't make the idea or the event any less awesome though!

More to the point who gives a shit?
Nobody really, we just fear that it will lack massages and thus won't live up to expectations. You can't recapture that glory. Still great though, I might tune in despite the late hour. One question, do you have a fixed winning goal (like holding a Xel'Naga tower at 60 minutes or so) or are you doing it on the fly? I feel FFAs have a lot of competitive potential.

Man no tournament will ever match the hype of the GSL so we should just limit tournaments to the GSL only. I think it's the only logical conclusion, just like FFA w/o Hyun massage is no good right?

He was disappointed because he has been trying to play HotS but it crashes constantly for him. Thought he was actually going to get a chance to try out the new units. He was a bit pissed but he definitely wasn't serious about everything he was saying.

Some moderator was giving away beta keys in Twitch chat. I copy pasted one sooo fast but battle.net site told:
"Your Battle.net account does not have any games that can be upgraded with this game key. Either you have no games that can be upgraded with this key, or you have already upgraded them."
Then I checked my games library and there's Heart of the Swarm beta. WTF where I got that from and when???
Im soooo happy and shocked, lol. HotS weekend incoming.
FFA is definitely an intriguing thing... Imagine the amount of mind games going on. I wanna know what would happen if pro caliber players really thought through the strategies in a FFA

People would team up. FFA are not serious business.

I have to admit, his jokes towards the end really rubbed me the wrong way. He may have been sarcastic when he was talking about balance, but it came off as REALLY whiny.

ya this would be alot of fun imo. There would be more action for the viewers and it most likely wouldn't come down to a stalemate with nothing to mine.
Awesome event though, I'm glad to have participated! was really enjoyable

sure it is, but ofc its even more volatile than everything else. even as a pro game u can lose to bronze guys, something like 6pool followed up by a 4gate from two people is quite strong. and even if you beat them both, the 3rd guy will have a bigger army than you^^
I'd want more objective oriented FFA's. Like at minute 15 you get a small award if hold a specific tower. You could have an observer call out objectives during the game and so on, I'm sure people can come up with more creative objectives than I can. That way you can avoid the players that just sits camping around their base hoping for the other players to eliminate each other. The fun with FFA's are the chaos.
