Well it can still work, but zergs have been playing smarter.

Believe it or not, Zergs used to clump up all their broodlords even when they knew a mothership was coming, and even when they knew that the mothership was the only way the protoss would win. It was so ridiculous. The protoss could be a bit behind, and the zerg would refuse to spread their broodlords anyway, even though it was a basic micro requirement.

Well long story short, nothing has changed balance wise with vortex, but instead of zergs playing like idiots, they learned to adapt, and now vortex is weak.

It is like when banelings were used against marines initially. People were saying they were OP, but then terrans started to spread their marines and win battles against them, rather than just sitting there and taking the banelings to the face. Balance can change because of the metagame.

in a few years when people will have learn to split their units preemptively like the zergs do with broodlords, maybe we won't have people bitching about fungals anymore


Nah, they will just cry about it. Like how zergs cried about the early game so queens got buffed.

The early game was stupid though for zergs. I mean there was probably a 11/11 for every TvZ series.

And Hellions so they got nerfed. And 2 rax so it got nerfed. And proxy rax before depot so it got nerfed. and 4gate so it got nerfed. And blink all in so it got nerfed. And the ability to hide tech so overlords got buffed. The list goes on...

Seriously, half the nerfs were based on Zergs complaining about the early game. Now there's barely any threat early game for them at all and they have an unbeatable late game army when they get to it.

They really need to change that entrance music "Big Bad Wolf" which Dreamhack are using every single time. Its the most ackward piece of music ive ever heard. Its not fitting at all. You need some epic entrance music not this.

A lot of that was so fucking deserved nerfs cmon..blue flame hellion anaheim, proxy rax before deport to just die, and nobody liked 4gate PvP or all in.

sorry that people want to see good games, not that NR20 turtle behind 129039123 spines and tech to unbeatable army shit, that pvz is. Dont get me wrong, Im not blaming the players, they play to win. but it doesnt really make for interesting games (in most cases)
