Lucifron is really good....he just doesnt play as much because of studies...also he shows up at like 1 maybe 2 tourneys per year...you should really take his stats very lighlty because hes obviously in top form in this tourney....

It's one hell of a lethal line-up Europe is going to be sending to the world championships.
I think we've got a realistic shot of making life very difficult for the Koreans.
Koreans aren't even going with their best, maybe there will be some big surprises in WCS finals
There "best" couldn't qualify buddy maybe they arnt the "best"?
GSL stats say otherwise, really, between forfeits, scheduling issues and what not, big hitters were out quickly, which sucks. KRs are the most exciting players imo, but this is not their best. For whatever reason KRs in general seem to have placed little importance on WCS.
uhhh the 'best' players competed, and lost D:
one tournament doesn't show who the best is, Creator won WCS Korea and failed to pass his up/down group.
You could say the same about any tournament, including GSL.

The APM for it isn't rediculously high either, can be done by a low masters terran.
lol arguing with APM is a bit silly its not really important
Why not? Most low terrans bitch because they think Zerg is imbalanced until you reach an MVP level. The strats these guys use don't require much APM, it's just positioning. But Honestly, Positioning is more forgiving against lesser zergs.

so if stephano had bombed out of wcs france because of a bad condition or he had a bad day he's not one of the best in EU? that's what happened with WCS KR. some of the best Terrans didn't make it in the qualifiers and some of the other best players forfeited.
I think that there is a high chance of a foreign champion, if we just look at the qualified players -
Nerchio - We all know he can defeat koreans already, we saw it at HSC V and IEM Gamescon Grubby - We also know that he defeated koreans are other tournaments aswell, and has the potential to beat anyone on a good day (Except Stephano). BabyKnight - Haven't proven himself as much, but he did beat Keen and Symbol in the FXOpen invitational a little over a month ago. Lowely - He haven't really beaten koreans, but his level of play could upset some. VortiX - He have already beaten koreans before and put up good fights against the best players in the world. Lucifron - Anyone who have seen his play will agree that he is good enough to beat any of the koreans if he keeps on the play his displaying right now. Stephano - We know he competes with koreans, and WCS Korea was mainly protoss.. and we know StephanovP is imbalanced as the only korean protoss who keeps an even record with him is MC, all the others just fall over.
It's gonna be really exciting. The great unknown factors for me are the Chinese players. Having home advantage may help them too.

Indeed you could which is why saying that all the players who made it to WCS Asia are the best players in Korea is just wrong, you can't show that through one tournament. ( especially a tournament format with only brackets and no group stages )

Finally
Doesn't change the fact that Lucifrons decisions in the series was perfect, but yeah, just because he beats Lowely doesn't mean his #1 terran in the world.
And if Lucifron played sloppy and almost brought Stephano to the brink of destruction, then I don't think anyone wants to face a non-sloppy Lucifron.

I actually haven't even thought of the chinese, but whenever chinese match up against koreans in china, they seem to do pretty damn well, like in Starswar 7, MacSed I believe won that over MMA?
I really don't know how to back this up, but WCS korea just felt unimportant and half-assed all the way through, MC and MVP forfeiting just made it all a lot clearer, neither the players nor the teams seemed to take this too seriously, it looked like a training ground throughout the whole thing, or like a tournament to show off some players who get less air time, which isn't a bad thing, but still, it was a strange tourney

Wait what, what are you basing this on? Most of the empire guys are working their asses off, so one good tournament for Lucifron and he's suddenly the most talented and hard working one, sigh
For the talent, he is always raping everything once he starts training again. For the hard work, he managed to be #1 on ladder, ahead of fOrGG.

Im not saying he's bad, he's been playing very well and it's showing, I am impressed I just prefer not to hype up players before they can show it consistently.

I wasn't that impressed with their level of play. Except for the auto seeds, I think they're going to be eliminated in the Asian stage of the tournament.

There's a very high chance it'll just be comm vs the world though.
