And if he looses so be it, JRech is showing of a very strong style, even if he hasn't made the best battle decisions it's a style that should really catch on as an alternative to the early-third/mass roach style.

His timings are better.

Everything went Naniwa's way but it was still close. yeah it kinda looked like he forcefielded off stuff all over only to just trade armies. I think he expected to win just then and there.

Protoss basically just have tiny timings they have to hit and if they don't, the zerg just rolls them over unless a serious mistake is made. Luckily for Naniwa he hit it this game, but 20seconds later and he's dead. Not saying it's imbalanced or whatever. Just that i don't like the matchup at all. Sounds like T in TvP

It looks like a real mess to me. Either you hit before broodlord with a colossi gateway ( perhaps archons ) army with upgrades and blink. Or you turtle hard and get an early mothership, harass a bitmore, then either try to win with a good vortex or the new trend of going carrier. And or the other side there's the Immortal 2 base all in / +2 blink all in / mass gateway unupdraged all in. Voilà, that's pretty much PvZ in a nuttshell.

The matchup seems the same - hinder the zerg before he can do what he wants. Major's games yesterday are PERFECT example! Bad, bad... HELLIONS, ROASTED DRONES, YAAAAAAAAAAY! That fourth snipe was huge too (hey Chill talking about that)

One game with a 3 base timing, where Ret suicided all of his Infestors. One game with a 3 base timing, where Ret went 12 min Hive after opening Muta/ling, suicided all his mutas into cannons, and had no units at home to defend.

Basically, your choices are two-base timing, three base maxed attack before Broodlords, or tech to Mothership fast enough to have a Vortex ready when the Broodlords reach your base.
