Code S RO8 (33) Code S Champion (31) Code S RO4 (26) Code S 2nd or 3rd (10) Code S RO32 (7) Code S RO16 (7) Code B (6) Code A (5) 125 total votes Your vote: How would Stephano go in GSL? (Vote): Code B In general - champion. Perfectly doable, if he doesn't quit his SC2 career soon. In his first season however, I won't be shocked if he even falls down to Code A. (Assuming he starts as a Code S seed.)

I am not saying he practices 8-10 hours a day, I am just saying it is completely wrong when people say he barely practice No, I'm saying I'm envious of him. What you feel about it I don't know, but you among others seem to have a very hard time accepting that he just doesn't play very much.

At the time of WC3 dominance, so maybe that can be chalked up to just being too young. (flash is an exception :p )

Perhaps IMSeed. haha Seed did say that he can beat any Zerg as long as the maps are balanced, but he didn't mention which maps he thinks are imbalanced xD

Some folks interpreted this as a impertinent BM question about Alicia's privates and started to whine like little girls. Alicia was playing under the account name of Short Stuff and this prompted the question!

He did this on the court, as soon as the match was over, eventually falling to the ground and staying there for a while, but only after he threw his shirt into the crowd. I would much rather have a dance party to celebrate a tournament where fans can get involved and everyone can have some fun than a celebration like I saw in tennis. You are talking aobut djokovic after wining a big match, yeah thats pure emotion right there. As for "professional production" Most of thepeople participating in this league are kids in their 20s, theres no need for a ceremony with red carpets and long speeches, its a videogame ment to be fun, the tournament is meant to bring entertainment, a dance party with the winner seems right for the kind of event the NASL is

Perhaps that means the guy has eyes and can see him practicing? Not sure. Maybe he just played a lot while he was there because he was there. Not sure about that, either.

Yes, I have a hard time believing he barely practice, and that he barely played 2 weeks prior to the event, and I am annoyed when people bring it up to idolize him

People who say with certainty that Stephano will do well in the GSL are being stupid. People who say with certainty that Stephano will fail in the GSL are also being stupid. It's best that we wait and see. Puma beats Code S players in foreign tournaments yet he can't even make Code A. Naniwa has taken out MVP, Nestea, and DRG in foreign tournaments but he got stopped at Ro8 twice (which is still extremely impressive, but I have a feeling that expectations for Stephano are even higher than that at this point). Stephano is solid. I think he'll be competive in GSL, but also depends greatly on who he has to play. If he has to play through a bunch of strong Z's and t's he could very well get demolished early. but anybody who says (if anybody did say) he's the best player in the world, haha I've heard that before then those same people are real quiet when he loses. He looked great in NASL, but he also got a bunch of P's which is his best matchup. He korean monster t's and Z's he'd have a much harder time.

But here, it was just one guy who won, and basically the casters all come out, spray champagne on the winner, and then start dancing with him? Imagine if say, this happened when a major Tennis match is won? Do the Tennis TV annoucers come down, spray champagne on the champion, and then start dancing with him? I think it was all a good idea, we all got a good laugh out of it, but was a bit too "raw". Any feeling of "professional production" that was left went out the window. The winner certainly enjoyed the celebration though, I guess that's an important part of it all (even Alicia would have had a good time I think!), but I think this was more than a bit over the top. THIS! Especially I loved how everything went when HerO won Dreamhack, it was joyful - the team celebrated and everything came across organized.

To add to the Naniwa experience, his first two trips to Korea had him getting crushed by Lucky in Code A. Just serves to strengthen your point. It's impossible to say with certainty how Stephano would perform in the GSL. It is very very different from any of the foreign competitions.

About him winning championship. there are tons of insane players in gsl. with more new talent in korea coming up and the BW veterans coming, it's just going to get harder and harder. Stephano I feel would do well in GSL now, but to say he'll win a gsl championship 100% is foolish
