I just see it as a should-be-professional sports event with a somewhat official ending/crowning of the winners.. And for the dancing part there are after partys, ever heard of that?

If you watch someone win the Champions League or other important sports cups they are also celebrating. The dancing was kind of awkward, but as the SC2 is literally 90% young people from age 15-27 I think its fitting in a way and fun to watch.
