Remember the time when whenever say 6 Koreans would be invited to foreign tourneys they would take top 6 in convincing fashion?
Those days are long gone and instead of the gap increasing (which is what logically should happen when koreans practice so much more and are much more dedicated) it has decreased and is still decreasing way too fast.
There's no "domination" anymore, it's just who plays better and who's luckier on a given day.
Lol the gap is getting closer... but it's still very much there. Don't delude yourself... lol
GO ALICIA!
keep telling yourself that, just don't be surprised if Stephano or Ret win NASL (which would have NEVER happened a year ago)
Look, you got the best foreigners vs average koreans (besides MC). You can't really draw conclusions from that.
Calling Alicia/puzzle and Hero average koreans is laughable
Didn't you know? Any Korean not named DRG/Nestea/MVP/MMA/MC is average.
Alicia/Puzzle/Hero are all in Code A or Code B right now.... Meaning they are not top 32 koreans and in Alicia's case not even top 72. They are average.
Ur really retarded if u dont think puzzle is top32 korean, he's slayers ACE player and slayer is at least top4 team in KR. how can u say he's average, lol? everything isn't about making code S ro8 every season, sigh.
DRG was below average before he got his Code S seed too, haven't you heard?
Yes he is retarted. Results are not only by skill... , its luck , shape of the day etc.. , one lpayer can play shitty one day , like for exaple huk today , and two days later he can own everyone.

Sick crowd there!
not anymore dude.
Koreans used to CRUSH foreigners a year ago, nowadays you don't see it anymore as most of the games are so close it can go either way (ofc unless theres some gimmicky unscouted all-in).
Rest of the world has caught up with Koreans even though they still practice significantly less. Just goes to show you how low the skill ceiling is in sc2 compared to BW since anyone can beat anyone at the highest level.

Well they're not exactly the cream of the crop...
What is the explanation for Nerchio taking out MC 3 1in HSC5 so?
And Livezerg beat Nerchio recently? Is Livezerg the new zerg bonjwa. Just take this NASL. How many koreans were in it and how many Koreans made Ro8? Look, foreigners are certainly good enough to take tournaments. But the gap is still there. There are literally 30-40 koreans that can take tournaments right now. Look at the korean qualifiers for events(WCS, OSL, TSL, weeklies), each qualifier has a different winner/finalist/semi. DRG loses in the 2nd -3rd round of some tournaments.
I think people are closing in on the skillcap of SC2 which is why the average Korean doesn't have that much of an edge anymore. The top top end of players are still koreans tho.

Nobody has argued that there isn't a gap between KR and foreigners, people are just saying that the gap has closed by a lot since 2011 but then Korea elitists comes up with stupid arguments like the KR players at NASL are below average n so on.
