Remember the time when whenever say 6 Koreans would be invited to foreign tourneys they would take top 6 in convincing fashion?
Those days are long gone and instead of the gap increasing (which is what logically should happen when koreans practice so much more and are much more dedicated) it has decreased and is still decreasing way too fast.
There's no "domination" anymore, it's just who plays better and who's luckier on a given day.
Lol the gap is getting closer... but it's still very much there. Don't delude yourself... lol
GO ALICIA!
keep telling yourself that, just don't be surprised if Stephano or Ret win NASL (which would have NEVER happened a year ago)
Look, you got the best foreigners vs average koreans (besides MC). You can't really draw conclusions from that.
Calling Alicia/puzzle and Hero average koreans is laughable
Didn't you know? Any Korean not named DRG/Nestea/MVP/MMA/MC is average.
Alicia/Puzzle/Hero are all in Code A or Code B right now.... Meaning they are not top 32 koreans and in Alicia's case not even top 72. They are average.
Ur really retarded if u dont think puzzle is top32 korean, he's slayers ACE player and slayer is at least top4 team in KR. how can u say he's average, lol? everything isn't about making code S ro8 every season, sigh.
DRG was below average before he got his Code S seed too, haven't you heard?
He was. He got eliminated second and then first rounds of the next two seasons of Code S after getting his seed. That's also a lot less relevant though since it was much harder to get into Code S then since there was a much lower turnover rate.

There are only very few Europeans in those tournaments and they done amasing. I dont get you point. Last MLG we had 2 EU players in top 5 and they had better win ratio vs the koreans
Im not saying there isnt a gap but its getting smaller and smaller every month and more and more foreigner players is going pro
I think you are confused because there are a few very good foreigners, but the overall gap is still huge. Imagine a tournament with top 50 koreans and top 50 europeans in it. Pulling numbers out of my ass i'd wager on something like 13 koreans in ro16.
We're talking about pros, there are less Eu pros than there are Kor ones. The average skill may even be in favor of Eu pros considering the amount of poor Kor pros. a top 30 Kor is a pro but a top30 Eu is not a pro.
Sure, make it 20 from each then, there are surely more than 20 pro europeans. It would be a slaughter house vs top 20 koreans.
More than 20 pro Europeans? Who are they? Kas, Nerchio, Mana, Stephano, Thorzain, Beastyqt, Whitera, Demuslim, Lucifron, Ret, Grubby, TLO, Naniwa, Jinro. I can't remember more than those 14 & I agree they would be crushed agaisnt top14 Kor but you have to admit a lan tournament including 6 Koreans & 2 foreigners one year ago would include 4 Koreans in top 4 & now we have 2 foreigners in the top4.

Hmm.. For instance DRG, MC and MKP (most would agree they're top5?) vs Naniwa (?), Stephano (?) and <insert terran>. Seems very lopsided to me.
