Just had that feeling today because going down 0-1 and winning gives you momentum, and being 1-0 and losing makes you feel pretty crappy.. And it's the group of death.. couldn't see someone pass up a 2-1 after winning 1-1 haha

He cancelled his third didn't he?

I picked MC and Symbol to get out of the group :D

Can't you counter it by FFing around yourself. I thought the drop has been patched. Since that space was so narrow, you can probably ff the dropped roaches away.

Symbol has another won set, but it is against a player that squirtle didn't get to play, and squirtle has a loss that was against a player that symbol didnt play. This seems a bit unfair. So exactly like this situation now :S
Makes no sense to have Symbol vs MC, bec the game means nothing to MC. The reason the format is as it is right now is because they want to eliminate games that don't matter to one or more players.

That doesn't change my opinion on zerg

Protoss is designed around FF and when you can Overlord drop and negate FFs, that could just force the metagame down to even fewer strategies. What beats Overlord drop? 2 Stargate Void Ray? Blink Stalker all in?

And why on earth would you two base all in on a map that is made for 3 base protoss turtle (though don't just sit there like parting).

Khaldor: Two players from Last year's GSL final are out. GOO Khaldor!

Lol I predicted MKP/Squirtle advancing. Sick insight bro.

when you cancel your third base..its kinda an all-in

Sooo for those of us taking notes... did anyone catch his gas timings or drone counts there? Looked fairly standard with +1 range and roach speed right after lair, into some lings and drop tech a tad later.

Sigh. At least MC got through...

Imagine what would happen if mc didn't hold that 4gate

damn squirtle is out. How could MC beat squirtle

Oh and Squirtle, this is what you get when you screw yourself over by intentionally picking a strong player. ST coaches should have forced him to pick a relatively bad opponent.
