No, they're trying new ideas. Actually a huge difference, but I guess people only care about builds that are successful in their first appearance. Like 1% of all build debuts.

Happy HerO advanced, sad it was a 3-0 stomp.
|
Why'd he Storm the Thors instead of Feedback-ing them? To try and get all the SCVs, I guess?
|
Woyeahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Greatly done by HerO. So much congratulations. I'm so happy for HerO :D :D

Two players. InCa and NaNiwa.

Naniwa didn't gg also vs Lucky.

I honestly don't feel like MVP would have advanced yesterday if he tried to play a solid macro game against Naniwa.
of course he wouldnt lol. i dont think anyone would make that argument.
Blizzard did say they would be keeping a close eye on the matchup, so maybe they are watching.

Nice, congrats Hero
|
How nice is it to see the players talking about the games afterwards!!!
|
Hero crushed his confidence, he didnt play a proper macro game in either 2nd or 3rd game, supernova just really didnt play well~ Hero played good but dont feel he was all that tested compare to some other terrans could have done! gg and happy to see hero in top 4

Yeah. And it proved to be the right choice.

Lame, was too busy watching TTS so I missed almost the whole 3rd game. I blame Supernova.
|
I think the 1st game shook up supernova, he should have won that but hero seemed to know supernova would fuck up the counter attack and timing

Yeap, and to allow the zealots space to crowd around the Thor.

I honestly don't feel like MVP would have advanced yesterday if he tried to play a solid macro game against Naniwa. its like protoss doing all the 7gates +2 timing against zerg and VR 3gates/4gates against Terran back in the days. Terran will figure a way out, dont whine.

don't know why supernova was so determined to shove his army into HerO for the quick W. He couldve set up shop right outside and contained hero with bunkers, or at least focus the HT BEFORE they rape all your rines...
That game couldve gone much better for supernova

Shedding a tear right now for all the terrans lost in TvP. Well, I guess it was time that the terran domination of GSL goes away. Now I hope that it eventually balances out so that all races are represented equally in Code S. I don't want to see Terran domination changed up with Toss domination.

Except that idea isn't new.
At all.
It's a two base thor all in with a banshee opening. It's been around for a while and it just was never meant to work on a map that large.
