Please have some respect for the players, teams, and tournament. Criticism is fine, criticism without anything to back it up isn't so cool. Thanks!

Yeah, who dares accept a w/o in a match that would put you in the fucking pool play with, you know, money on the line. You can win money without being in pool play and being in pool play does not guarantee you money.

That doesn't mean we would prefer to watch some NA zerg get stomped in his group over Puma potentially showing good games. We're spectators, why would we want Ostojiy v DRG instead of Puma v DRG. He can do what he wants but that doesn't mean we can't call it a lame move. If he's allowed to annoy us spectators then we have the right to be annoyed by him. rofl, like Puma v DRG would be any less onesided...

Have you really forgotten when DeMuslim was "forced" to make a similar choice and he choose to be "a good guy". After that Scoots raged on ITG or some show about how the organizers were stupid to even ask a player. Now it's the other way around and the EG management is crying? Well done.

How common is it for there top players to play different fighting games at the same tournament? I saw Justin wong playing another fighter yesterday and now hes playing mortal combat, doesn't that dilute the amount of practise they can have for any single game? well the different fighters are quite similar really. You use the same concept with your arcade sticks and most games have the same amount of abilities/combos. Which pretty much makes it so that if you are good at street fighter, you are most likely gonna be good at mortal kombat. Also imo the skill gap and what it takes to be one of the best in fighters is quite lower than games like sc2, making it easier to be good at multiple fighters as well

I would be more annoyed at MLG for not having some leeway being explicitly stated in the rules. However, being mad at Ostojiy for getting the free win is NOT the right person to direct any anger towards. the thing is they do have leeway. allowing ostojiy to decide is the leeway. ostojiy just wanted a free win. its cool though, now we get to see him lose every game in the pool, instead of watching Puma, a guy who will give us great games and probably only lose to DRG.
