Uh... Feast read his build and knew he was going bio. Do you even know how competitive Starcraft is played? Or anything about it? Why would you get an Observer when you KNOW you don't need it. Feast was adjusting his build to cut corners. That's what good players constantly do day in and day out. He didn't scout anything past the bunker. He knew nothing. Uh are you serious? The bunker is a tell that you're going for 1 rax command center into bio. It could be a bluff, going for some kind 1-1-1 on one or two bases, but he can scout that with a Stalker. Kas JUST DID the same exact build on the same map before the disconnect. Players tend to not change because they prepare a specific build for a specific map and matchup. You're a dolt. Lol. You can go 1 rax cc, into double gas, into banshees. He didn't know. He made a good guess. You realize everyone does this right? A player scouts a nexus being built, they assume that their opponent is expanding. The opponent can then expand, or cancel the nexus and go all in. The player that scouted the nexus has to guess what will happen, since he can't know for sure. This happens pretty much every game. You make educated guesses to get ahead of your opponent based on things you scout. It even says in my post he made a good guess, so yes, I realise this.

Considering Kas (just like his team mate Happy although Happy's more extreme) tend to be very rigid one trick ponies making that guess is not as risky as it sounds. If Feast would have done that guess against somebody like PuMa or SeleCT however he probably would not have done that.
Kas has been switching in more other builds recently though so that should definatly improve his game. Even if his aggresive play wouldn't be as good that would be offset by the fast that his ´new´ style is harder to predict.

meh , hard to see idra winning this series if he loses this first map. Antiga hasn't been good for ZvP..

Whereas Thorzaine has really tight builds, and can all-in at any point really keeping you guessing but his macro isn't anything special either. Agression is nonexistant? Have you watched him play TvZ? Yeah, pushing isn't the same as the constant aggression of most TvZ specialists in Korea with over 70% winrates. Like Ganzi, Gumiho, MMA. They don't let you breath with constant harass, then they hit with huge macro'd pushes. Not to mention how passive Kas's TvP is.
It's not only passive, it has no flair at all. All Europeans want is "playing safe". Kas did a 1 rax CC into more rax, upgrades and some tech? What the fuck, is he reading a tutorial for diamond players on TL or what? Just look at how MKP or MMA play the game, it's fucking unpredictable and ballsy, that's how Terran is meant to play at the highest level.

Lurk liquipedia for the recent code A qualifiers, code S and code A results.Stephano and Naniwa were quite a bit weaker (especially Naniwa) than Thorzain or Kas @WC3, I know what that means to me.

From looking at the stats in the Playhem tournament (which has quite a high sample size) it came to the conclusion that Daybreak is sort of balanced in every matchup besides in ZvT (with a big Zerg advantage there).
The 60-40 in ZvT is the reason that Playhem took Daybreak out of their mappool.
