Welcome to the  Korean StarLeague! The KSL is sponsored by own3d.tv and can be viewed as an European event series that features the Korean Pro-Teams. From Monday to Thursday there will be a single player competition. Each of the 8 Pro-Teams will send out one player and they will play each other in a single-elimination tournament-style bracket. All of the games will be best of three. The winning player receives a $100 prize, with $50 going to the runner-up! Friday through Sunday there will be team-matches, which will use a Winner's League format, with the winning team taking home a prize of $200!

This is why I love the KSL. Exposure for some of the lesser known gamers! Haven't scene Hack since he was in Zenex and Realmaker and NEXTREME have been doing well recently in other tournaments, this day should be interesting indeed.

To be fair, the individuals portion of KSL is very similar to ESVTV's Korean weekly so it's not as unique. The teamleague portion, on the other hand, is pure gold at least until GSTL starts up again.

They use the Chinese client because it's much easier to get a Taiwanese account than a korean one and you still get to play on the korean server.

Yes that is Naniwa. Way different persona than online or interviews at tournaments. An awesome cast. His interviews at MLG on the stage were like 2 word answers, so it is kind of surprising that he is so talkative in a cast. The KSL is awesome btw, literally from when I wake up like 6EST to 12PM there is a tournament on ALL day. It filled a gap and has no competition, so I feel that it woud do very well.

Own3d seems to often be a bit unstable for americans so it might have something to do with how they are routing the information (or something) to the US. I've very rarely had any problems with own3d myself.
