Dimaga Select
Select advances.
I think Dimaga will advance iff Jinro beats Select, however
My heart says Jinro but my brain says Dimaga.
A playoff for the playoffs!
Jinrollin' buuuuddy!
idk how well jinro's been doing lately, he's really fallen off my radar, but select's been... well he's been okay i guess. Not phenomenal. dimaga's always been a beast so he'll go ahead, and let's just say dimaga will win.
go dimaga
I'm rooting for Vibe and SeleCT, cmon vibe!
If Jinro beats SeleCT, I think Dimaga will advance, but if SeleCT beats jinro, itll be close but I think he can advance.
Also 2-0'd him at Blizzcon.

You guys can go here to cast your votes for who you will think will take the bracket.
So far, SeleCT is in the lead!
Shouldn't this be airing like.. now?
Oh nm the stupid calendar doesn't account for DST.
Or rather, the time in the OP says 1am CET, when it actually starts 2AM CET - due to DST
ViBE/Jinro, with Jinro to take it!
So, as stated above is there some issue or is it just running late?
I've watched a few VODs and always see those overlay / filler thing and gretorp setting up but... i assumed that was all done before the stream got turned on for TL?
I think the calendar got it wrong. It actually starts at 6 pm PST, according to the looping vid they got going on.
Time to play some more New Vegas...
seriously?
You guys delay this for half a hour now and just say nothing?

We always start matches at 6:00PM PST. Last week was an exception with the Semi-Open matches because there was a time issue and started at 5:00PM PST instead of the usual 6:00PM
I think its too much to have half the players in the playoffs. Guys like Ret and Dimaga who went 5-2 have now no advantage over players who went 2-5.
I don't think you should put it up on the TL calendar showed as "ON AIR" if it's not. Especially not one hour before it starts. First I waited for it to start as showed on the calendar and now I have waited 48 minutes on top of that. Not cool.
Yeah...Too many players get to the playoffs imo, and too few people get eliminated from the league. If you can win 2 games and stay in (Tyler, TLO, Lowely, Haypro, Vibe), there is something wrong with the system.

I'm inclined to agree with this. Maybe a system of straight elimination, with only those who reach finals being secured a spot in the next season. Everyone else has to either re-qualify or go back through the open bracket.
3 from ukraine (Strelok, White-Ra, Dimaga)? What about Kas?
I wish people would stop saying that. Nestea has lost quite a few televised ZvZ. Dimaga was the first, maybe? but since then he has dropped sets to people like Cezanne, Fruitdealer, and dropped Bo3 to BboongBboong and Haypro, if I recall correctly.

Because they didn't mention Haypro I would assume that this was recorded before MLG Providence. Kind of takes away a bit of the excitement when the games are 1-2 weeks old.

Furthermore I feel like you did these brackets wrong. Why would you go...
+ Show Spoiler +1 vs 20 6 vs 15
2 vs 19 7 vs 14
3 vs 18 8 vs 13
4 vs 17 9 vs 12
5 vs 16 10 vs 11
You should've snaked the rankings so that it is more likely to get the top players through. Observe this format:
+ Show Spoiler +1 vs 20 10 vs 11
2 vs 19 9 vs 12
3 vs 18 8 vs 13
4 vs 17 7 vs 14
5 vs 16 6 vs 15
I believe my system is more fair to the higher up players who earned their rank. Note that here, Dimaga in a worst case scenario will play the 10th rank player, as opposed to now, where he plays the 6th ranked player.
Similarily, why is HwangSin rewarded with a weaker opponent in the next round (10 or 11) when he could be playing who Dimaga is playing (6th or 15th)? Yes, Jinro could advance and Dimaga could face the 15th, but still. Doesn't make sense to me.
Seems mass muta, not so good in ZvZ
Edit: Well, guess lag was a factor too.

Dimaga, please don't do that ever again.
Hmm lag... hopefully they did postpone for the other games. If not, I predict a six pool.

Why are there rocks at the gold on metalopolis (I am an NASL newbie..)

Less people get eliminated this season because the number of players this season was lower than planned, due to some Koreans withdrawing.
Normally 16 out of 50 get eliminated (about one third), which is quite a lot.

I think they decided it was too easy for terrans to fast expand and hold the gold expo ... I think.
woo, playoffs. Euros Hwaiting.
small criticisms : OP says 5pm PST start time, and the transitional music after the game (g2 vibe/dimaga) was approx 40x louder than the casters.

ZvP against forge FE is super imba, taking the gold is nearly as easy as taking your natural in that matchup.

the stream starts. it's on the calendar an hour ago. but ye, i have to remember certain leagues that dont be able to start when they said. okok.

Seriously Dimaga got such a great personality. His interviews allways in a happy way. Allways enjoying watching him and his big smile
Why does the video lack any contrast? Can't understand the quality seems like gamma is high, contrast is low and all colours are undersaturated. Combined with my great -no pass- bitrate it turns into a blurry gray overlighted soup.
And this goes for all NASL season2 streams.
Let me explain a bit more, by -nopass bitrate- i mean no HD. And the games itself are better, the webcam/logo/studio production stuff suffer from it mainly.

Is this for free streams or is this for the hd as well?

Come on Jinro
Updated my post reachthesky.
Jinro's not keeping up on his upgrades.
bio attack of the century O_O
Looks like Jinro's finally starting to figure out mech ^_^ Looking really solid this game, the hellion/viking count is so important vs bio. Just needs to deal with that really difficult turtle phase with a ton of turrets and such.
Jinro is not amused. On his twitter november 9: "Bio is a terrible joke. In TvT its too good"

That actually may be about this game after seeing that last battle...

Jinro could have had ~15 more hellions at the end of the game... 2k in the bank. He seems to have good mechanics but is not keeping his builds crisp. Too bad, I miss my easter island terran.
SeleCT did exactly what he had to to break mech. Jinro let himself get way too spread out.
okkkeeee what is this I'm watching?
My money's on ultras
Edit... damn
lmao...what an ending -.-. Hurray Dimaga :D
Select learning IdrA's 'gg' timings.
Yea Dimaga made it:D congratz Dimaga. Select play like shit atm lost to haypro also at MLG no idea whats up with him
Dimaga vs Brat_OK at finals.
What a nice interview again with Dimaga. <3 Also good to hear that he acknowledges the lag of his opponent.
The interviews are kinda the highlight of NASL. :D

I don't know about that but Dimaga said in his interview that November 4 was a "few days ago", and then his games was postponed too.
But it's good to be out in good time for things like that so they have some room to work with, I guess.
I would assume that "today's" games have been pre-recorded on a bigger margin then normally because of MLG.
Looking at mOOnGLaDe's bracket, he actually has a pretty good shot at advancing to the finals.
Please do it, mOOnGLaDe, I would mark the fuck out.

I had to google that one and found out that it means "to temporarily forget that wrestling is fake because something cool happened". You aussies are strange.

The terminology isn't specifically limited to wrestling, it pretty much just means going into fanboy mode and going nuts. It's just that wrestling fans end up using it a lot outside of wrestling.
