Fatigue is honestly bs. The open bracket matches are spaced out decently due to the sheer number of players there, and MVP and Nestea play at least that many games in practice. Most of their opponents will be easier than the Korean ladder or practice partners. They shouldn't be worried about the open bracket at all.

MMA will just beat them based on pure skill alone lol (yes, I'm an MMA fan lol).

Edit: If anything MVP and Nestea will have tons of momentum going in.

If you think fatigue is BS then I don't know what to say. Practice isn't the same thing as playing games that matter, specially when jetlagged, MMA will have an entire day where he can rest and recuperate from jetlag whilst they have to be awake and ready to play their open bracket games on the first day.

I want to see another Slayers domination, and hopefully Slayers Boxer can get that Code S spot. Ganzi and Puzzle are both very solid players, and both have the ability of make it out of the Open Bracket (based on recent results, I would say that Ganzi and Nestea could probably go toe-to-toe and have the result go either way).

Maybe Slayers will shift the metagame this tournament again like they did at Anaheim (blue-flame anyone?).

Practice isn't the same thing as playing games that matter, specially when jetlagged, MMA will have an entire day where he can rest and recuperate from jetlag whilst they have to be awake and ready to play their open bracket games on the first day.

Fatigue is always thrown around by fans as excuses, but no player has ever complained about fatigue publicly. Jetlag is one thing that's perfectly justified. Idra went to the final game with Boxer, then played hongun, bomber, and MC back to back in fairly long games, and when he was asked about fatigue he said that was not a problem because any pro should be able to play that amount of games (iirc, it was on sotg). Tyler made it out of the open at anaheim and said it wasn't bad (also on sotg). Whitera beat Drewbie after an incredibly long session of playing at Anaheim.

You only really have to play back to back series when the tournament narrows down and the rounds go by a lot quicker. The open bracket is tough but the matches are spaced out well enough for the earlier stages, and it won't be challenging for MVP or Nestea until at least WBR3 or 4. Practice isn't the same as playing games, but MVP and Nestea are on a completely different tier.

You can argue that the people coming from the lower bracket will have momentum, be warmed up, and be in the mindset to play. I'm not saying MMA wouldn't be warmed up. But coming off a win against a high foreigner does much more to warm you up than the NA ladder during MLG weekend.

Koreans especially should be used to playing constantly and be better suited for these types of events then foriegners, and foreigners have said that they don't have a big issue with fatigue. (Although Stephano and I think Thorzain have said they had issues with fatigue iirc).

I do see jetlag being a factor but some players are just better at dealing with that.

Pretty sure it's just streaming on Youtube. No promises that it'll be VoD.

There was some concert a few months back that seemed pretty huge in Brazil streamed on Youtube as well. They're just grabbing whatever events they think will bring an audience to Youtube Streaming.
Have a nice day.

Koreans practice a lot but their tournaments definitely aren't gauntlets like MLG. Anyway that wasn't even my main point. I was originally saying that even if MVP and Nestea make it out, I think MMA will be in a good position to take one or both of them out.

MMA is like the 50% favourite here.

For all we know MVP or NesTea might not be in bracket #1... the 4 coming out from the open bracket into the championship have won their respective brackets, the # has nothing to do with it...

No open bracket player since Naniwa has won MLG and that was before all the koreans and all he did was 4 gate so very quick games. Nahh MMA wont win he should be lucky to get top 5 fatigue will play a big impact play that many matches will take its toll.
