MMA played better than Nestea, Leenock played better than HuK. Alive playing better than Protoss players. Oz/Killer/Happy still undecided obviously NOTHING WOULD CHANGE! Thanks for playing

He was very behind thanks to the poor engagement where he moved his Colossi onto the highground and rendered them extremely vulnerable to vikings. If you looked at the supply Alive was about 70 up, for a long time it was going to take a huge mistake for him to actually lose the game. Well played by both players throughout various stages of the game, but there were some critical mistakes like that aforementioned engagement. Oz made an incredible comeback but attacking at an unfavourable angle allowed Alive to retake his advantage and, this time, he didn't lose it.

That hidden Starport shouldn't have been hidden though. Oz saw the SCV but must have missed it on the mini-map.

It's not as straightforward as saying lol more range. aLive played pretty well I thought, he did some really awesome harass. It just got a bit hairy for him because proxying the starport meant he had no way to get reactive vikings out promptly to deal with the first waves of Colossus. entertaining game, even if it was a bit sloppy.

Are they just used to doing it because it used to be gold? It was one of the worst possible expos to take for alive, he had to lift his orbital like 4 times, if he had taken the left expo under his third he couldve been mining without interruption

I'm pretty sure they didn't since storm isn't effected by upgrades.

That's the only base that you can defend while defending the main at the same time. Or you could ninja expand and pray to Xel'Naga that he doesn't scout.

Funny thing is I can't even say I'm shocked at the results considering how NesTea has been winning less frequently lately in GSL, but HuK getting dominated (apparently) by Leenock seems crazy even though Leenock is most definitely top tier Its a funny thing how these matchups work for pros. Leenock has traditonally weak zvp but I guess he just had huks number today.

They think they can defend it easier compared to the side bases
