Single Elimination RO32 on Sunday
How Swiss Rounds work:
+ Show Spoiler +The first round is either drawn at random or seeded according to some prior order, such as rating or last year's performance. Players who win receive 3 points, those who draw receive 1 point and players that lose receive no points. Win, lose, or draw, all players proceed to the next round where winners are pitted against winners, losers are pitted against losers, and so on. In subsequent rounds, players face opponents with the same (or almost the same) score. No player is paired up against the same opponent twice however.
When and Where:
Swiss Round play starts on Saturday, Oct 15 12:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00).
Single Elimination play starts on Sunday, Oct 16 12:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00).
The tournament will run via the European Battle.net server.
Prizes: R 8 000.00 (~$970)
- Winner: R 2 800.00 (~$340)
- 2nd: R 1 800.00 (~$218)
- 3rd: R 1 100.00 (~$133)
- 4th: R 700.00 (~$85)
- 5th-8th: R 400.00 (~$49)
