Chill a bit, everything isnt whining.
Yeah zergs are funny. Remember the cries: "omg one bad decision and zerg is dead" people tell them its like that for everyone "no no no just zerg qq" lol...now its protoss time to qq...and then the cycle will get to the beggining again and it will be terrans time just like in the first weeks of beta.
I guess the mentality to qq is kind of stuck with us as a community for now, and its going to be hard to change for some time.
It was a nice game, I wanted a MMA win but Nestea played well, preventing drop paths in the beggining and just playing a safe game making MMAs style difficult to deploy!

MMA managed to take out every one of Nestea's expansion throughout the game. He made that one huge mistake where he could of did a lot of damage to Nestea mid-game, but couldn't cuz he lost all those marines+tanks for no reason.
I was talking about early game.

What you mean is Nestea was ahead the entire game and only made the game look close with a single poor engagment and still won anyway.

Why would GSL need to change its format? What... "So many great players" -- you can say that about pretty much every group. The players who deserve to be in GSL will win their up and down matches or outright win in group play. If they don't? Oh well. They don't deserve to be there.
People complain about MLG's format, GSL's format, the NBA's format, the NFL's format. Has anyone ever just not complained about the format and let the player's game speak for itself?

i think if nestea didnt shut down MMA's initial 2 medivac drop MMA would have taken this easy.
fortunately he did ^^

Nestea beat those terran nerds <3

I don't think it's the format thats wrong it's simply that over the seasons we've gotten to a point where every single person in Code S is just really good and they all deserve to be there except theres not enough spots.
I would disagree purely just on the first 4 groups we have group A with Noblese and Ensnare who will both eventually be out of code S at there current rate of play and in group D the same can be said about Virus and probably asd honestly.

MMA sure fuck up his control 20-30s then he lost the game XD(after that was Fantasy gg timing)

It's on the players as well. So many pick themselves a tough opponent to prove themselves, to challenge themselves, to screw someone else over, or simply because they think the fans would like to see it. Hell MC's fall to Code B started precisely because he picked MVP lol.

Now we just need Keen to beat MMA, and then he can attempt to take glorious revenge upon Nada once again. Go Keen! We saw how that opening worked for Nada when he did that to DRG in the last MLG. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he does that anyway, Nada is quite cheesy.
NADA is quite cheesy...?
u forella son?

All in all a fairly even game. MMA couldn't get much early harrass in and Nestea played super safe by not getting his third. MMA could've won the game but made the one micro mistake losing 30 marines after a won battle.

not with the viking, maybe with the marines due to a mistake of nestea. even if the chance was tiny. i really don't like people complain about "gg timings". there's much on the line for those players. why the hell should smart people leave if it's not 100% decided...... there's always a chance for a (big) mistake

Still people are tards for doubting nestea so much. His zvt is still very good. mma has beaten him more then once. I dont know if nestea has ever beaten MMA tbh. Thats why they douted him in this match id guess He's only beaten him once as far as I'm concerned. Those AoL matches couldn't' have been serious considering he was due to play mma the following week in a much more important tournament. You could really see it in the play too. Nestea almost never plays hyper aggressive like he did in AoL. He usually just sits back defensively like in this game
I like how fanboys are always selective on which results they "count". Doesn't change the face that MMA is 3-1 no matter how hard you want it not to be.

Really great games. How many games should a person be able to lose without the tournament being unwieldy long? I kinda agree with better format, but also see it from GOM's perspective, kind of impossible to have more games for a 1 month tournament. It kind of sucks tho to have Bo1s determining outcomes. I think they should go back to the straight up single elimination without the group play (like how code A does it), or make the group play a full round robin (but that means an extra 2(?) games per group)

Boxer passes on his GG timing to his students also it seems.

Agree, I think Nestea only plays seriously in the GSL. I wouldn't read too much on his results in other tournaments.

You can micro to do it, it's just difficult.
