It's on the players as well. So many pick themselves a tough opponent to prove themselves, to challenge themselves, to screw someone else over, or simply because they think the fans would like to see it. Hell MC's fall to Code B started precisely because he picked MVP lol.
MC picked MVP because, had he beaten MVP and gotten to the finals, he'd be going to Blizzcon instead of MVP. That's what he wanted.

For all those people saying MMA could of pushed, you must of forgot about the wall of about 20 spines, would of given nestea plenty of time to get more units out and fight back the push. That is most likely why MMA did not push as he knows nestea likes to dump all his excess min into spines in the mid game.

Now we just need Keen to beat MMA, and then he can attempt to take glorious revenge upon Nada once again. Go Keen! We saw how that opening worked for Nada when he did that to DRG in the last MLG. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he does that anyway, Nada is quite cheesy. NADA is quite cheesy...? u forella son?
He just proxied a whole base vs Keen =p
But seriously, Nada loves his 11/11 bunker rushes in TvZ.

feels good seeing nestea smashing that nub mma's face. lol in a real game.

Still people are tards for doubting nestea so much. His zvt is still very good. mma has beaten him more then once. I dont know if nestea has ever beaten MMA tbh. Thats why they douted him in this match id guess He's only beaten him once as far as I'm concerned. Those AoL matches couldn't' have been serious considering he was due to play mma the following week in a much more important tournament. You could really see it in the play too. Nestea almost never plays hyper aggressive like he did in AoL. He usually just sits back defensively like in this game I like how fanboys are always selective on which results they "count". Doesn't change the face that MMA is 3-1 no matter how hard you want it not to be.
kk fine he's 3-1. Guess huk is up a game on him too *rolls eyes*

Nestea didn't get his third because this version of terminus has rocks at the third. Macro third hatch will probably become the standard on this map.

Did you see the same game we did? MMA DID push but lost his army to banelings. The spines weren't why he fell back.

I think that's possible, it is not throwing the game away, just not pulling out all the guns.
Older gamers tends to hide their stuff till crucial time.

"I'm... I'm a badass." LOL

Yeah this was something I was thinking about as well, Nestea was definitely not his usual self in the AoL.
This game was quite interesting, Nestea played really well up until the first engagement. After he crushed the first army he should have rolled over mma but once he got Broods out he was negative in his expanding, and choose the wrong expansions. With the army comp he had he should have expanded towards the base of mma, using the ton of spines he had already made to secure them; in actuality he expanded to places without creep which made it really hard to get any expansions up due to to the lack of static defence and his slow army.

On top of that, if you pick the high players, you only have to play a Bo1, so you can squeeze out a win "easier" than a series, where the better player tends to win
A lot of people think its suicide, I think its rather clever

That's the best and truest analysis.
But it's way more fun to exagerate and pretend our favourite player dominated! So I'll just say Nestea stomped and outplayed MMA in every possible way!
Even losing the banelings was a strategy to make MMA underestimate him, so that the next banelings would win him the game.

Who's saying he could have pushed? o.O
I think most agree that MMA lost when he lost his army to banelings.

Yeah, he does 2rax a lot. He doesn't vary it up that much, but the idea of NaDa being a generally "cheesy" player just goes so against everything I know haha

Played against one of the best drop play terrans of this time-didn't loose a single drone. Ye,MMA outplayed him right. You guys hahahaha

We need more leagues and more championships. Most Asian professional mind sports (shougi, Go, etc.) have multiple leagues and multiple championships. The better you are, the more games you have to play in multiple leagues and multiple championships.
Some are happy just performing in one league and aiming for one championship.
