I really hope we get 14T in ro16 and 7T in ro8 (I cannot see how can Virus defeat Nestea even with Terran being OP) so Blizzard can finally start doing some real nerfs on Terran like marines doing 5+1vs light and emp having a smaller area.

Not enough games vs Code S Terrans to see picture. But I don't even think he will beat Jjakji or Happy. July? Too inconsistent and has looked hopeless against the greater Terrans (but looks reaally good vs mediocre ones). That's it for Code S. Unless people are willing to say Ret, Dimaga, Stephano or Sen have better ZvT than Nestea, you will have to convince everyone that Leenock and July have better ZvT than Nestea, which frankly, I don't believe. Yeah, I'm with you on that one. Stephano did beat mma in a bo3 for ipl qualifier, although it was online.

These new mass expand Terran styles show that Terran macro can actually keep up and even overpower Zerg, without even doing any harass. There've been a lot of games like this recently, with MVP, Bomber, Jjakji etc, where Terran basically doesn't do any early harass, kills zero drones, just keeps expanding and putting up more and more turrets to nullify Muta harass, and keeps pushing to trade armies cost effectively with Zerg until Zerg can't keep up anymore. Even if Zerg crushes one push, there's another one behind. Then in the mid-late game drops start coming to stretch Zerg even thinner and it's gg. I'm surprised it took so long to be honest. The hellions give map control for quite some time, which allows the terran to take expands fairly easily (usually like a quick 3rd). And then those easily replenishable marine heavy armies are so hard to deal with if you keep sending wave after wave, like you said. Pretty straightforward

Yes those damn 10 dollars with even TvT has such high quality games. It's like 7 euro for us ... that is code A plus code S, tons of games hours of watching why would you be a starcraft fan and not buy it. I'll put it in perspective here, a pack of sigarets here are 7 euro's something ... What would you get for 7 euro's that's more worth then a season of Gsl. On your nerf note there will always be one race feeling more powerful then the other the metagame shifts constantly look at broodwar we will see the same here. To me if some one says it's not worth buying a cheap ticket for the highest quality of games it gets my doubt up if you really are a starcraft fan even if it's one race feeling more powerful in it's current state.

"feeling more powerful" does not equal no protoss in Code S. Stop accusing us of not being starcraft fans because we don't wanna see ONLY 1 matchup. I wonder how much you would watch this game if it was pure PvP.

Also, as far as I can tell... there's pretty much no benefit at all for winning the IPL qualifiers. Getting into the top 2 is incredibly important, but once you're in the top 2 it doesn't matter if you win or not except for a possibly marginal seeding advantage. I'm sure MMA did try, of course, he's not going to be intentionally losing games just because there's not a prize, but there's hardly a lot on the line.

I think that GOM needs to start letting viewers buy individual matches for a low price. Otherwise for protoss fans it just doesn't seem to be worth it to pay for a whole season ticket for just a handful of games that feature protoss, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

I would be really interested to see how GOM's revenue from GSL ticket sales has fluctuated over the past 4 months. I'd say their online ticket sales make up a minority of their revenue and they shouldn't be concerned about it.

The season ticket is well worth it for code A alone imo. Plus I think Losira, Nestea, and July will go far. But yes, emp should be a smaller area.

I was very confused by that as well. I think the Thors were too clumped, but even then, that was a hilariously one-sided battle.
