i didnt say virus would win. i said if virus does win, it's 2 of the final 4 slots filled by terrans w/o a single round of 8 game being played.

rofl ppl just whine hard about terran. Can u guys not see how virus won the build order by like really huge early game? He kept his lead entire game and attacked just before p got aoe.

There's this patch... it's coming out tomorrow for the server GOM is played on.... It's kind of hush hush right now, but I'm not afraid to let you in on the secret.

Artosis always disses on guys like Ensnare, Zenio etc who have been staples of Code S, but wouldn't Huk be more or less on the same level? Admittedly, he gets alot of lucky breaks in the up/downs avoiding code A several times.
Did pretty well last month. And staying in code s by the skin of your teeth makes you a top 3 protoss in the world at the moment, with mc falling out of code a the only more consistent protoss lately is hong un and genius and neither has been tearing up much of anything.

This leads to polt's famous quote :' most players in GSL are carried by race, not skill.'
HuK is certainly being a boss of a protoss right now. No other protoss other than hongun is staying consistent in code S. What about players like ensnare? If he played protoss, he would be in code B.

This group was quite weak, asd is very new to Code S and didn't show much last season and I don't think Virus has ever made it out of group stages(probably wrong here - but he does only have a 44% win rate)
Well he won his group last season , he had HongUn , Supernova and Clide is his group i believe.

I think huk knew toss cant beat the 1-1-1 so he went dt's hoping to get lucky. He played dam near perfect in game 1 and still loss so he was just like screw it i am going to go dt's and hope for the best. Hope once toss gets fixed you will go far huk cause you are a dam good player.

Virus has actually only failed to make it out of r32 once in four seasons now. Surprising I know given no one ever thinks about him twice.

But DT's are a terrible coinflip against your standard 1-1-1 >_>

Those are the nutheads. We already know HuK is dead for trying out dt expo.

Him making the ro8 last season was a total fluke. Those games versus Nada were just abominable, from both of them. He's still the only foreigner in code S, and that's good enough, especially playing the race he does. To be fair that "fluke' may be the farthest any protoss goes since hongun in july, and he lost to mvp that was bending everyone over... Because honestly hong un is the only p that looks like they have a chance of making it out of group stages this time 7 of 8 advancing so far t's get ready for more tank wars, i mean sc2. Genius also made r8 last season... I'd expect either HongUn or Genius to make r8 again this season tbh.
The both have magical voidrays

do you not see that this is the internet and people will never be happy?? even if the distribution was 11 T / 11 Z / 10 P people would still find something to whine about.

Last gsl ro8 was more of a luck run imo. Sanghos PvP was not even Code A level as well as Nada's TvP. He then got humiliated by MVP in ro8.

Huk gets really easy groups. It's the truth. Last GSL he played Killer 3 times, and now the guy is code A.

That doesn't really tell you anything at all, considering that in TvT a terran will always lose, and lord knows there's been plenty of those that determine who goes out.

Him making the ro8 last season was a total fluke. Those games versus Nada were just abominable, from both of them. He's still the only foreigner in code S, and that's good enough, especially playing the race he does. So the season b4 was a fluke as well? When he made the ro16? I don't remember those group games specifically, but the meta game for PvT wasn't in the state it is in right now. And as far as I remember, he got pretty lucky with his opponents every time in code S so far. He can compete in code S and sometimes get through the group stage, but I think Huk is in his place right now. He's by no means a finalist or close to it. Wait so he isn't good enough to beat Code S groups, but can compete in Code S and can get through the Code S groups. Nice logic you got going there.
I think he's saying that Huk has done as well as expected, considering the state of the game. I expected him to beat Virus; I thought he was better. But Virus has skillz. So Huk is in an "all right" position now.
Oh gosh. I know balance discussion is generally forbidden, but sometimes the silence is louder than the screams.

haha, are you serious? There are bound to be that many terrans eliminated since there are more terrans in ro32 than the amount that can advance. Even if the maximum amount of terrans advanced, there would still be 4 terrans gone by now.
