IMO the 1-1-1 is most powerful when you mix in banshee harass to bait Toss to make more stalkers --> raven point defense drone siege later --> zomg no damage from my stalkers + everything else melting. Why do people have this backwards logic? More like MVP is so damn good, he didn't have to be confined to any particular style the first two games. So he decided to do short cheese games instead of long macro games. How is there something wrong with that? Freaking whiners. Everyone's got their own definition of cheese, but in general a cheese = a very high risk, moderately high reward build more often than not done with zero scouting + pulling workers. I don't think MVP cheesed, but instead reacted perfectly to scouting as any pro gamer would in games 1 + 2. On the other hand, the 1-1-1 opening for Terran is simply a robust opening v P, being able to respond to nearly anything the protoss tosses at terran. Whether you go ahead and perform the marine/tank/raven/banshee all in is another story. Game 3 = Straight up macro game, Huk had a timing where he might've done well depending on flanking/FF's etc. But MVP baited him into the corner of the map like a pro. Then the rest is history

Then the decision to expand on the far of the map when he has a 3rd very close, so he get sandwiched and dropped and bad rallypointed >< Huk clearly tilted. He had lost the game at that point The far away third was a risk. MVP scouted it and dealt with it, but there was no way in hell that HuK could ever come back by playing standard. You would need to be MC to do that

After the "best foreigner" talk by tastosis at the beginning I thought HuK got better, but this is a joke. He's playing like a robot, doesn't adapt, leaving naked collosi in the middle of the map, chasing a ball instead of attacking and be proactive instead of reactive. I don't want to downtalk MVP's skill, he is using his head, like a pro should do. I'm just sad that so many clear tactical errors are still made. Not fun to watch ![]() Why are you watching random live crap? Go watch NaDa vs PuMa first Bo3 and DRG vs Bomber g1in MLG .

South Korea is clearly one step ahead of Europe which is itself one stop ahead of North America. I hope China will show some dominance like they did with Warcraft 3 because watching South Koreans dominating every single tournament where they're invited is pretty boring.

He had enough mules to continue making Marines for the next four minutes of game time... ![]() Well, that was... incredibly disheartening. HuK didn't look like HuK at all, seemed kind of shaky at best. MVP also destroyed him mind game wise, two all-in 1 base builds, then a super greedy hyper expanding build. Speaking of super greedy hyper expanding builds, I feel like three base before tech Terran is likely a lot stronger than three base before tech Zerg. I mean, Lings/Roaches are good, but marines are so much better... Terran doesn't even need to get gas to do that. -.-

Feels like terran can do so many strong all in pushes but at the same time play so rediculously greedy and get away with it. I give up on protoss T_T Most terrans can't play like that. Give MVP some credit. He'd be beating huk if he was a zerg or protoss too. He's just incredibly good.

On his best day Huk would not have taken a game off MVP. ive seen huk beat mvp many times on his stream. of course you cant compare ladder to an actual set, but this statement is just wrong...huk did play terrible in g3, but he was so far behind anyway it was so hard to come back at that point. His only chance was to attack and not get drawn away to the left corner (which also let mvp scout his expo), but mvp's BO along with huk losing a couple stalkers was pretty much gg lol
