Metalopolis nice contain with lings and later mutas. On Shakuras Nerchio consistently denied 3rd expand, while he got up to 6 bases. Last push was ling, roach, infestor, baneling in overlords with ultras building. Where can I watch those replays mate? thanks.

Rooting for MaNa. He really deserves the win, especially now, after disproving TL´s horrible prediction.

Huk lost and played just awful. I think that the travel is really catching up to him. Even if he got plenty of rest for this tournament (doubtful) he still doesn't have a stable training environment to train in and it showed in the sloppiness of his play.

you're sure?
There isn't a "best" country in Europe. There was a time where Morrow, Naniwa and Thorzain looked unbeatable, but that's definitely not the case anymore. Poland looks very strong right now, but it's not like they are far ahead of the rest.
We should just be happy that we have so many good players in Europe.
Poland: Nerchio, Tarson, Mana, DieStar, ... Sweden: Naniwa, Thorzain, Morrow, Sjow, ... Ukraine: White-Ra, Kas, Dimaga, Strelok, ... Germany: Socke, HasuObs, Goody, Darkforce, ... ...

I'm not saying Puma lost to Mana on purpose but that second place sure puts him in the nicer half of the bracket.
Hoping for Mc Puma finals rematch here!

too bad Huk didn't have any protoss in his group..lol...

Omg these commercials are killing me! They are soo much higher in volume than anything else i have playing, and it doesnt care if the stream us muted... -.-

When he's on, he's very good, but sometimes he looks incredibly outclassed. As with everyone else, lets see how he fares against Koreans in a GSL environment. Beating a code B Korean in one match doesn't mean a thing.
Though I refer to him as a code B terran he is a strong player. MC was afraid of him for NASL he even mentioned. MC, the unrealistically cocky player was afraid of Puma, which definitely says something about how he's viewed on the korean scene
Mana beat two code S (who both are current code S ro16) players convincingly just 2 weeks ago at assembly winter...

RERUN has some FIFA matches or sth... Any1 knows when SC2 gonna begin?

After seeing mana's great defense of that ghost push, I would like to see him vs 1-1-1. The koreans seem adamant that charge and armor are needed, but we have seen that the Koreans sometimes have the wrong style (as seen by Pumas not so good decisions vs colossi builds)

100% agree. Poland is very good, same Sweden (and others) but there is no best coutry in Europe. Same as there is no best player in Europe, no one dominates the scene (well Nerchio maybe online).

If HuK was under the liquid banner im sure he woulda 3-0'd his group

wow MC ezwin! Some upsets to look out for: MC > SeleCT Nerchio > PuMa I think Mana > mOOnGlaDe is obvious Socke vs Kas is pretty even, and I don't see Kas play often, and Socke has been invisible (even though he makes it to top 5 in every tournament). I say: SeleCT Mana Socke Nerchio Overrating Nerchio and Select IMO. They will get stomped :/. I don't know what leads you to believe Select will beat MC considering their last meeting. MC's recent poor performance and SeleCT's recent sick performance (NA invitational and his play yesterday). Don't get me wrong, even with that in mind, I think MC has the nod to be the favorite. The point is I want a bracket that not everyone will pick but still somewhat reasonable. :S
Unfortunately, you ended up picking the exact same bracket that somebody 2 or so posts above you did.

France > Germany with 1 player, Stephano :D

Man I have to check these HuK replays, I was baffled when I saw the results.
|
Really impressed with the performance of all the European players.
Even the players who didn't qualify looked incredible. Stephano's first games against Puma was absolutely inspiring.
I know its way early to make this call, but I'm really feeling like this could be the tournament where a foreign hero steps up and takes one from the Koreans.
