No, the reason I say this is because I think HuK or MC wouldn't have slipped up like Hero. That game shouldn't have gone like that, he maybe made a mistake or DRG got off lucky taking down those first units with the lings which eventually flooded him. I think one of the solid protoss players just would have a bigger chance in taking him out. Hero is also a great protoss, but I just think is playstyle wasn't fit vs someone as DRG. He's an amazing zerg player.
There also is the pressure in being the ace so considering HuK has had problems with that before maybe MC. But this is merely how I see it. I don't question thewind and I think he does great.
Too bad I can't express my opinion without someone calling it cheap talk, though.

There is a tendency for people to overhype players sure, but I still feel DRG is something special. I'm sure we'll see him in code A next season.

anyway, DRG is a great zerg player yes, but we have yet to see him play in a GSL regular season. Lots of players have done very well in the GSTL(eg: squirtle) and then crashed and burned when they entered GSL

That's the problem with your idea of measuring a player. Qualifying for a tournament doesn't only involve skill. It involves being fortunate enough to not run into the wrong players constantly. Do you know how ridiculous the Code A qualifiers are? It's such a long road that you NEED measure of luck to get through them. Also, I'm pretty sure DRG hasn't been trying to qualify for GSL ever since the first GSL Open season...

Apart from what everyone else allready pointed out DRG does not use "funny" builds. His builds are actually pretty standard.
And saying he got lucky with that roachpush, Cezzane had about 4 roaches and a bunch of spines going up: obviously he knows something fishy is going on and its better to push sooner rather than later.
In his match against Hero he knew what was going on and countered it perfectly.
And vs Nada he scouted very well for when nada was moving out to make the runby's. He also does this in alot of ZvT's succesfully.
Conclusion: He does not go for funny builds and he is not jus t"lucky".
