GOMTV presents the Global Starcraft II Team League Season 1!

A total of 12 teams will compete in a spectacular Team League. The GSTL now runs for 3 months as a regular full league. Which team will claim the title of the best SC II team in the world in Season 1?

Teams that will be participating in this exciting GSTL will be: SlayerS, MVP, IM, oGs, Prime, TSL, fOu, ZeNEX, StarTale, NS_Hoseo, FXOpen and F.United. The pennant race will be Bo7, and the play-offs and the final will be Bo9.

Prizepool :
1st: 30,000,000KRW (~20,000EUR, 28,000USD)
2nd: 15,000,000KRW (~10,000EUR, 14,000USD)
Coach award: 5,000,000KRW (~3,200EUR, 4,500USD)

Format :

GSTL will be broadcasted twice a week on Thursday and Friday
12 teams will be participating. The league will be divided into two groups
Groups that play on Thursdays will be in the Jupiter league and groups that play on Fridays will be in the Venus league. *In Korea, Thursday is called the day of Jupiter and Friday is called the day of Venus.
The Jupiter League includes: SlayerS, TSL, oGs, MVP, PRIME, F.United
The Venus League includes: IM, StarTale, fOu, Zenex, NS, FXOpen e-Sports
Each team will play every team of its group once, this process will take 10 weeks.
This group stage will be called the “Pennant Race”
Once the Pennant Race is over, the top 3 teams from each group will advance to the Play-offs
Ranking will be decided using the following factors in order: Number of Wins -> Number of Set Losses -> If two teams have same number of wins and set losses, the winner of the two from the pennant race match will receive a higher ranking -> Number of Warnings Received
The Pennant Race will be best Bo7, Play-offs and finals Bo9. “King of the hill”-type format.

What previous poster said and don't bother with the rosters on GOMtv anyway. They're a bit outdated. Just use TLPD, they're fully up to date with information directly from s2con.com (the Starcraft2 player association).

I went for MVP today, just because of MC + Zenio is out of town. If MVP can get two kills before they send out DRG, they are gonna win when there is no MC to fear.

Huk will probably get to play cause he's probably gonna be the main protoss player since MC isnt playing and Inca will probably be a PvP Sniper.

That is if TheStC doesnt all kill MVP

top, hero, huk and nada will probably be the backbone of ogs for tonight, could have soe trouble vs DRG with 2 terrans. hope the protosses can pull through cos i bet on ogs for liquidbet >.<

He said that with MC and Zenio on a flight to NASL, he might have a chance to play though. And frankly he's oGs-TL's next best Protoss.

I tend to guess teams put out players all 3 races. So that means TheStC (terran), perhaps Luvsic (zerg) and Huk (protoss) and an ace (Nada or TOP). They've surprised us before though.

MVP on the other hand is too deep to call. DongRaeGu might be a sure bet if they get to that point. Guineapig's Random factor is something which is very useful to MVP also. If I were to wager a guess, I'll say Noblesse, Genius or Keen as the other possible picks.
