Shut it, Cruncher haters=Idra fanboys =)

It isn't like Idra is a creative player who comes up with new strategies. He is a freaking study cow that you see in every college, will study the book all the time, with little brain. Not to say Cruncher is anything special, but all this Cruncher hate and Idra love is over the top.

My God, how can words of a player can change perspective of so many people.

he is doing a pretty solid heavy macro build... i dont really think you can hate on that without looking like a hypocrit. kinda slow to watch though!

I wasn't hating on it. I was saying it's a hilarious way to play. I actually like that style, it's how I mostly played in sc1(though that kind of style was so much more fun in sc1...)

i suspect that cruncher has very poor multitasking, wich is why he he does these passive turtlemacro into timing push builds. reminds me of me, lol.

I had pretty bad multitasking as far as sc1 players went too

So is it safe to say that Protoss can force Zerg to be in the position of having to basically all in and try to end the game quickly now? I mean that seems like the only option. Is all-in drop play simply the only option? So then it's a matter of how well protoss can defend an all in attack?

I mean I hear mrbitter criticizing momans passivity and this is the only way I can interpret what he is saying. What are the other options left to Zerg against a defensive macroing toss?

Mid game mutalisk-transitions destroy this robo based macro build.

The cruncher bashing in this thread is disgusting, TL needs to grow up

I don't see how it's disgusting. He's an uninspiring and boring player to watch.

no, everyones just mad that he outplayed IdrA and then Mondragon, so they hate him because of it. its childish and immature

No, it's because he plays the most boring style that banks on a single attack. Whether that involves a 4gate or cheese or his 3 base turtle to death ball strategy (which are the only three strats he has), the game ends one way or another based on his one attack.

Or, as Moman showed, you can kill him before he gets that chance.

if it works, why wouldnt you do it?

Because its basically using a crutch. You don't have to be a good player to execute those strategies. They won't work forever.

Then how come we dont see protoss players dominating everything? GSL protoss is still the least represented race.

because zerg have learnt how to play the matchup and dont let them get to the deathball now. Moman was just playing bad and a bad style like bitter said.

Like that style he did was the very beggining of the roach/hydra/corrupter era. Even at the end of it people learnt u had to attack with burrowed roaches when the 3rd was going up(hard to on that map) or drop

Your blind fanboyism is compromising your brain functioning. Protoss players WERE dominating everything and then zerg players discovered ways to beat the death ball. CrunCher is playing an old abusive style that doesn't work against his betters.

Mr Bitter is completely right with these rants, Zergs who still play this style deserve to lose. Even if it is to a 200/200 deathball A move.

Mr Bitter is excellent at casting. He's much better than both InControl and Gretorp. NASL should hire him.

While I don't enjoy crunchers turtling style, I sure do hope he wins. Gotta make up for white-ra losing for my liquibets.

Multi-prong drops, nydus, getting a more cost efficient compo, even trading armies would have been better since he had the better economy early game.

Don't max out on roaches and hydras versus an army that costs twice as much? Actually attack when you see your opponent throwing up a third when he has four gates? He criticized Moman's passivity because he sat there and let Cruncher go to four base protoss versus four base zerg before taking a couple more useless bases.

I think you overestimate IdrA's influence on the community.

wait wait wait Whitera lost against Incontrol in a bo3? wow... I got a lot of respect for Incontrol and whitera but this is... I'm speechless.
I guess either PvP is a joke, either I should start practicing seriously cause I may have a shot at winning something
