Jinro better not lose to this kind of play or i'm going to be dissapointed . You would think that a player of Nada's experience would play more defensive and draw out the game against this kind of player . Just play safe and slowly kill the opponent with siege tanks . You don't need that much minerals when you already have 2 fully saturated bases you use scans to determine your opponents's army whereabouts . Using scans sensor towers and any meens of scouting that you can do and reacting base on the information is how you learn to play TvT . This is the basic that i learned from watching BW pros . Also if your army is much more immobile then your enemies you make sure to have stationary defences set up at key locations .

I really don't understand how a progamer like Nada can constantly botch sieging his tanks the way he did.

So 3 Terran and a Zerg which seems to be a familiar trend in GSL1,2 and this one.

I really don't think MKP's style has any potential in future when players learn to counter it properly as NaDa was able to get in commanding lead in games 1 and 3 fairly easily and I believe Jinro has good chance to advance to finals.

NaDa admitted that he barely trains, I think he just didnt have enough experience of those situations and didnt played them well.

But yea I don't think MKP's style is really good, definitly have some huge weaknesses.

Yeah Jinro can't go into the MKP series thinking it'll be a standard macro game, prepare for base trades and have a mobile army to counter his. If jinro does use siege tanks, hes gotta use them extremely carefully or MKP will just straight up stomp him.

Its gonna be hard, his style is very hard to beat, You either have to play the same style and do it better or play a flawless siege tank/marine comp which is alot less forgiving than pure bio.

Well I think their Ro16 tells a lot. Jinro had a firm grasp on what was happening but made a similar mistake to Nada. That mistake cost him the game. If he does similar thing but doesn't do same mistake I think he can take the series.

From the word on the street, he hardly plays SC2. He's busy with his studies and just plays every now and then. He looked very rusty today.

Nada's main mistake in both game 1 and 3 is ............. he didn't lift his stuff fast enough and couldn't ninja as efficiently as Marine King.

Sorry, but base trading against a mobile army is asking for trouble (and we see other players make mistakes against MKP so many times. So far the best way to counter MKP has been shown to be to do the exact same style only superior.)

edit2: Mind you Jinro knows his stuff as well. I'm sure the games are going to be very entertaining.

Haha I love the "maybe".
After the finals are played for some reason both end up being second.

Gameplanning for him should be so easy for Jinro. How did he beat jinro in the ro16? Marines and medivacs.

He made plenty of siege tanks against Jinro. He is usually MMM heavy with the occasional siege tank and/or viking.

Has Jinro made a unit other than MMMVT and the occasional viking yet in tvt?

Gameplanning for him should be easy for MarineKing. How did he lose to MKP in the ro16? Getting outplayed and outmicroed.

Its just the units comps for the different style. dont hate cus ur nadas fanboi, plox

Actually against marineking he went refinery before barracks into hellion and banshee harass.

oh yeah i meant banshee. but that wasnt my point i see SC2 as alot like chess, but easier to play, more fun to watch and more dynamic. jinro is slow and "does everything right" in a dull pace, while MKP play is tempo based and is all about micro, catching you out of position etc. now the marine is obviously the perfect answer to the way of playing MKP has. it's just annoying that people complain before they think. do u want him to play this way with tanks, vikings and MMM? no, that would be quite horrible.

QFT. All the complaints are rubbish. GSL has only been exciting when we see 2 massively differently styles clash. People quote Jinro vs Ensnare as an awesome game but in my eyes, it was pretty much a war of attrition and seeing many small poorly micro-ed skirmishes isn't as entertaining as seeing 2 epic styles clash with many clutch decisions and micromanagement.

And all the MK never macroes is rubbish. In all the games vs Nada he was the first to take this third.

nada is rich hard to get motivated. Does he even live in ogs house 24/7? I doubt it.

If Jinro is going to take MKP, maybe he just needs to play the uber passive and go for that one crushing engagement with maxed armies. Obviously the tank timing pushes won't work if you don't prep for the drop/base trade, but a more passive viking/tank approach would be more feasible.

im pretty sure with MKP's style, he is now the #1 base trader in tvt in the world ez
im positive he faces a vastly superior tank/marine army every single game and just side steps it and forces a base trade as the only remaining tactic

this shit is seriously ridiculous and needs to stop. eventually people are going to catch on to this

Nah, they'll both find a way to fail with getting the gold.

Constant draws ends up with the referees having to cancel the game. No one is declaired a winner.

Does that mean its a good game or what?
