It is sad that GomTV had to buy a suit for John and couldn't afford to pay the cable bills.

Joking aside. I loved both series. Completely the opposite of what I thought was going to happen. But now that it is over I would recommend both series.
I had a good night of sleep.

TBH Jinro would need to punish MKP which an early push before the marine/medivac ball gets too out of control

Couple of things that would've helped Nada against MKP:

Vikings (completely wipe out MKP's buildings during the trade).

Planetary Fortress (good vs. marines).

Using the gold as your new base instead of your opponent's natural.

If Jinro is as good as I think he is, I believe he will learn from Nada's mistakes and be able to pull out wins in the same situations.

What you have to realize is that if NaDa wanted a Viking he would have needed to cut his army down to 7 (+2 for viking).

Even if he got the viking, Marineking could have just landed his buildings and defended the 7marine push with his suprerior army + medivacs, since he had an extra 8(?) supply from the command center.

NaDa could NOT have won that game.

yeah man. dudes game sense of timings/when to stim and micro is just godlike. he said in some interview that hes been praccing alot of the "standard" unit comp to change up his game. i see a rly bright future for him when he learns how to mix in both styles, and completely change it up in a middle of a bo7.

just like game 1: MMM+micro= win game 2: MMTV with cloak banshees and tank drops on cliffs while hes dropping marines other places etc = win and then he 2rax all ins third game.

players like that are sooo good. u never know what to expect >.<

I really don't think MKP's style has any potential in future when players learn to counter it properly as NaDa was able to get in commanding lead in games 1 and 3 fairly easily and I believe Jinro has good chance to advance to finals.

nada is rich hard to get motivated. Does he even live in ogs house 24/7? I doubt it.

I dont think he is that rich that he doesnt need 47k or whatever is the prize for 1st place.

didnt nada just finish up a 600k contract from pantech/wemade?

If these guys are smart then they're managing their money well because they know they can't do this for very long.

i think with the addition of other prize money and endorsements, nada is easily in the million dollar range now
and you only need like what? ~15k yearly to survive in korea?
i think he'll be fine

Jinro: I think I'm ready to face MKP again and redeem myself from last time. Yes, I think I'm ready, I defeated Idra 3-1. If I can handle a 6 pool from Idra, I can handle a marine push from MKP.

MKP: 3-0 Nada

Jinro: Has MKP ever lost a TVT? EVER?

Yeah Jinro can't go into the MKP series thinking it'll be a standard macro game, prepare for base trades and have a mobile army to counter his. If jinro does use siege tanks, hes gotta use them extremely carefully or MKP will just straight up stomp him.

Its gonna be hard, his style is very hard to beat, You either have to play the same style and do it better or play a flawless siege tank/marine comp which is alot less forgiving than pure bio.

Bolded for the truth. Siedge takes some time and then they are defenceless. Nada didnt make a mistake in game 3 by going without siedging. He was in no position for immoblive siedge push. He knew that if he had done it MK would just run by him or into him masacring his tanks.

Dunno if you heard about the concept ''leapfrogging''.

To me, Jinro's chances are quite high, he trains a lot more than NaDa and his whole team will support him to train against this style and come with something good. Go Jinro!

MKP v Jinro will be good, though I think MKP may possibly 3-0 him.

Theres a replay recently uploaded fo a slayers_BoxeR game against Jinro on blistering where boxer goes all out MMM. Jinro looked very immobile and clumsy, like he wasnt used to palying against it.

I think it will come down to maps. I'm rooting for our swedish HERO.

It will be a good series for sure ... Jinro has very very creative builds cooked up and I'm loving them every moment. The 2 things Jinro needs to cover are early Marine push and Marine Medivac drops. If those 2 are covered, MKP will be forced to play something else which will be interesting.

Not Game 1, but Game 3.

Nada made many mistakes during that game, not the least of which was to lose his Starport and numerous production facilities to a drop which he could've defended with better positioning on his tanks. But it's not the end game that really matters here. If Nada had Vikings with his death ball army he could've traded and came out ahead. This would've required Nada to play more defensively, of course, but much of his timing during Game 3 was determined by that drop, so I think that if he had defended that drop, he could've afforded to make some vikings and pushed with the same ground force.

Remember, Vikings also snipe Medivacs, a key part of MKP's strategy.

The thing i love most about MKP is the influence hes had on the ladder...

SO many times terrans try to do the same and end up losing their entire army to 2 stray tanks i left somewhere becuase im BAD enough to always lose control of my army.

ahahahahaha i love it.
