i see SC2 as alot like chess, but easier to play, more fun to watch and more dynamic. jinro is slow and "does everything right" in a dull pace, while MKP play is tempo based and is all about micro, catching you out of position etc. now the marine is obviously the perfect answer to the way of playing MKP has. it's just annoying that people complain before they think. do u want him to play this way with tanks, vikings and MMM? no, that would be quite horrible.

You would have a point if you hadn't said Jinro got outplayed and outmicrod in the first game. Putting your army in medivacs and dropping them doesn't need a high skill ceiling. Up until that point you could argue that Jinro was in the lead and was playing better than him.

Nada because he can easily correct these mistakes for next time they play, while mkp would have to improve his entire play if he plays against someone who doesnt make mistakes.

Um you can say that about any player who loses. Well gee he can just correct the mistakes next time.... sorry but MKP is a better sc2 player at the moment and his tournament results in gsl and outside show that.

Was expecting some baller macro games out of IdrA vs. Jinro, very disappointed.

Was expecting some okay but fairly average TvT out of MKP vs. Nada, very happily surprised.

All I can say is, to hell with all u guys saying Foxer's style won't last, or that he isn't that good.
For me he's the most talanted player out there, even better than MVP.

As for the semifinals, I think it's obvious who the favourites are, and I'm pretty sure that will be reflected in the betting sites.
I'd say something around

Foxer 1.60 Jinro 2.30

Probably the same for MVP vs Nestea, in MVP's favor of course.
What actually happens is a whole new thing of course.. I feel Nestea might make an upset, and although I am hoping for Jinro to make the finals I don't think he'll have what it takes.

Foxer vs MVP would still be pretty awesome so it's not so bad.
Also hoping for a TvT finals. It's high time for a terran to win this thing.
As a fan, go Foxer and Jinro ;]

I think we are going to see a rematch of GSL 2 in finals

foxer vs nestea again. This time nestea winning even easier.

Of course that's what I hope and most likely it will be MVP vs foxer but we will see.

oh my, closest 6pool defense I've ever seen. But I guess Jinro still had a really good chance to take the series on Lost Temple.
I still can't say who is the better player right now... But I still like IdrA a bit more because he calls a spade a spade. C'mon guys, his rage is just passion

No matter what, I'll definitely root for the Gorilla Terran in his games against MKP

Still think with cross-metal and cross-shakuras this series would've been as awesome as everybody thought it would be. But that's how the maps work right now. So please mature-up and don't turn every LR thread into a ragefest. :/

Look at how many ppl jinro thanked that helped him prepare for this matchup. I wonder how many ppl Idra had to help him prepare for this matchup. I hope EG brings some practice partners that can practice and strategize with idra before the next GSL starts. He can't really depend on ret's help when he plays any of the oGs or TL guys. That really leaves him with just artosis to bounce ideas off of.
