I would recommend HongUn games, not that spectacular but decent. I don't know about the first game though, coming too late for game 1 (Fruitdealer).
Game 2: Lyn vs Stc is also good, but was typical TvT long game, I don't really like that. TvT is the sole reason I'm not playing T :p

It was pretty memorable. You don't see a lot of Protoss (in fact I can't remember any off the top of my head) going stargate as toss. Usually it's 3/4 gates and Colossus.

Well...even today he didn't 1 base all in the first game. He won when he was on one base. Doesn't make it all in, or cheesy, his opponent was just bad so he could finish it early.

He still proved that your point was completely biased by saying he does NOTHING but 1 base. When this shows its actually the opposite of that. I guess you are right though 15 minutes No Rush = macro.

Simply go pool first then hatch. Keep a drone patrol also. It's almost the same econ-wise really. Going hatch first is a gamble which would pay off slightly. I am sure the zerg that just lost is not whining about "op cannons", but more about luck of the spawn-positions. Youre misunderstanding the issue. I want to have options. I want to use strategies. i want to be able to expand and defend expansions. It's fine if he cannons me, but i want to be able to match my skill against his skill and see who comes out on top.

Game 1 vs Zenio ends up being about 16 minutes real time (so the clock would indicate a longer game) and HongUn ends up on 3 base. His third set against Cezanne is also fairly macro based and those were during season 1 when longer games tended to be a little more rare than they are now. Both those games HongUn had the intention of playing a macro game and ended up fairly longer and he won.
Unless I'm mistaking him for someone else, I thought I recall watching him play a couple exciting PvZ's on Gisado a while back that ended up being longer and good games. From what I've seen (and what HongUn said in his season 1 interviews) I think he wound, in general, rather play a longer game but is uncomfortable with the current state of PvZ (indicated by his interview after today's match) and choose what he did because he no longer feels confident in his personal ability to compete with the Zerg in a longer game, despite desires to do so.

This has become a terrible, terrible thread.
Quick, clean wins by HongUn. A bit sad that Dreamizer and Bless lost after balling so hard a few times there. Aside from that all of the games were e-barf.

And the mediocre showing of protoss is because we need to L2P. Of course evidence inferring the weak state of protoss is invalid but the evidence of zerg players are are not.
Could also lose the condescending attitude, its quite pathetic.

Why are you talking about tournament titles? It took me a while to figure out which side you are arguing for. Look at what race has been winning.
Anyway I feel the metagame has been changing so much that it is too difficult to say which matchups are imbalanced. We need to give it more time. Perhaps protosses will discover something that gives them a higher qualifying rate in GSL4. Who knows?
So lets discuss balance after a month of tournament results, not after one series. Maps and positions were definitely in P favor. Also the skill level of the Z is non-testified. GG's anyway.

its called build order advantage?
u wanna do a build that rewards at a later stages of the game while having a weaker early game strength, well guess what u will be at a disadvantage at the early stages of the game because ur taking a risk why the hell are u guys complaining when ur punished for doing a greedy build? and expect to be able to 14 hatch every game without consequences?
