How can anybody in his right mind blame protoss-cheese for a loss with a 14 hatch? Seriously? If somebody 14 hatches me he asks me for cannons - then he better have some damn skill or just die right there, 14 hatches close positions insults me like a double 10 gate PvP. Don't frickin 14 hatch, at least not close position, zerg has tons of safe(r) openings that do just fine. It really seems like toss have to cannon over and over and over again until the zergs finally learn. Yesterday Sen, today Naya, stupid openings that beg for cannons. Why...just...why? | ||

I liked what you pointed out in this thread. People are too focused on placement, that they forget when awesome players like Sen loses to Socke in MLG in long games (along with many other examples which include good play from both sides). What happened to zerg in GSL 1, was not fun to see, it was more like a miracle when they won, and the finals Fruitdealer himself said he played 130%, and although ITR did play well, he got outplayed and predicted every time he tried something. Something was really wrong with zerg the first season, they got buffed, and I feel all the races are balanced, even when going hatch first is not really worth the risk anymore. So the only thing right now is not imbalance, but so much risky stuff going on the first 5-8 minutes. I feel sc2 is having this snowball effect, that can be almost impossible to get out of. It will take some time for even the pros to learn the game, 2 seasons in is nothing, and we dont need another patch to "spice" things up and have 1 or 2 more seasons people learning different timing attacks. What is needed, is pure multitasking and map control matches, not 1 base timing pushes as we see now. | ||

Ret/Kyrix/BoxeRPrime/The Random(REALLY looking forward to watching him. I hope he wins, I think everyone will be rooting for the random)/Junwi/Clide/July... all good watches. There are also no mirrors tomorrow, unless the random comes up that way. | ||
