There's so much all-in, 1 base stuff going on all the time. I wants macro games. I wants BW style greediness from both players. I wants players to learn how to defend all the silly aggression. I wants the overall mentality to change from ''How can I find a way to kill him off when he's being greedy'' to ''How can I outgreed him when he's being greedy''. It's quite simple. Terran isn't as good late game, and it's pretty obvious. Zerg late game as well as Protoss late game just wreck Terran. And since there are a billion Terrans, all they do is try to end it early, playing to the strengths of their race.
You couldnt be more wrong. There are tons of great terran macro players out there like Painuser, Jinro and pretty much every top US/EU terran. We just havnt had the chance to watch it in GSL yet cause everyone plays retarded.

i knew rainbows TvZ was his weakest, but man. I was expecting atleast another ro.4 finish for him. lyn and haypro losing sucks too =(
as for the zerg players arguing. I am a zerg player, and 14 hatch is just plain stupid. 14 pool is about twice as safe and maybe .01% less economy in the long run. good for the terran players punishing greedy players imo

On the even calendar it has him as Protoss here its as Zerg he either actually did switch or this was a mistake(hopes its a mistake) Anyone know why he switched teams? He didn't switch. He still plays for NEX team but also reps NSP clan. He did switch. He's officially out of ZeNEX and looking for a team.

LyN nooooo! Our Warcraft3 champion has fallen...(stupid rightclick newb hahahah!) MooN UP IN THIS TONIGHT, I AM ABSOLUTELY EXCITE. Moreso than Nada, Rainbow or even Tester. Not more excite than a Boxer or Fruit or Genius game though. Now Dear reader, your able to gauge my excite level, you'll realize I just like saying the word excite, even though I'm genuinely excited! ^^ lol

people need to stop doing these insanely greedy builds on these tiny blizzard maps

Yes oGsNada and oGsInca both have terrible micro and tell me which part of the post did I say I have trouble with it. Just using it to point out the heavy bias that usually happens when a zerg wins with cheese and when a protoss does it we need to crucify him.
oGsInCa
Oh man. DL what i linked. Select Inca then hit "c" you will see how Inca micro is bad...

Yeah, so sick of the all ins.

there are a lot of terran's doing what foxer did with the scv/marine all in, pretty tired of seeing it myself. its not so bad to snipe one game or so in a series but when its used every game it gets tiring . however we've also seen interesting builds like littlekids air heavy build, I thought that was real fun to watch.

Well get used to it, because right now going all in with terran is the best option you have.

There would be WAY less all-ins TvZ if 14 hatch weren't so prevalent.

Wrong you obviously don't' watch many good terran players play zergs in macro games and win without having to all in. Sad you don't know that though of course.

RAINBOW NOOOOOO x.x
Damn, I was hoping he'd pull out a win this time around!
|
damn Anypro losing a no-name terran.. Anypro is like the 4th best protoss in the world..
so how many protoss are left in this tourney now.. like 3 out of ~50??
|
I want to see how long this terran style will last. Not counting Foxer, it might be gone before this tournament is over.

Yeah. You're absolutely right. Rainbow and those other terrans in the GSL are not good terran players.

There are 12 in the 64 player tourney. 5 have played, 3 won, 2 lost. Not looking too good for the brotosses.

In Broodwar didn't a 12 hatch Zerg make 3 sunkens to be safe from an early mm push before mutas? Why don't SC2 zergs do this? I also recall Jaedong losing a bunch of games to an mm push after he 12 hatched but skipped sunkens.

In BW, sunkens buy you time until lurkers or mutas, which punishes terran for going marine heavy. In SC2, marine-marauder heavy MMM builds are the way to go and you don't get punished for it whatsoever.
SC2 is just a fail game. Factory liftoff for scouting? pfft. FAIL!!!

How can anybody in his right mind blame protoss-cheese for a loss with a 14 hatch? Seriously? If somebody 14 hatches me he asks me for cannons - then he better have some damn skill or just die right there, 14 hatches close positions insults me like a double 10 gate PvP. Don't frickin 14 hatch, at least not close position, zerg has tons of safe(r) openings that do just fine. It really seems like toss have to cannon over and over and over again until the zergs finally learn.
Yesterday Sen, today Naya, stupid openings that beg for cannons. Why...just...why? Seriously, people dont realise that 14 hatch is a greedy build. It shouldnt be standard. Cannons and early marines pressures are key to preventing zerg economy stomping. If zergs didnt 14 hatch every single game, you wouldnt see so much all in and 1 base from terran/protoss. I just cant wait until 14 hatch gets punished so much that they stop doing it everygame.
Pretty sure that's what everyone said too about 12 hatchs in SC1. Zerg will eventually learn to fight off early cheese, just like in SC1, and 14/15 hatch before pool will be standard. History ftw.

People lift factories to scout in SC1 too.
