I think it's automatic qualification in ro64.

How come I have none of my zerg heroes left?.. guess its time to hop on the Zenio train.. also looking forward to wind's games..
Mainly rooting for Terrans now.. fml lol... gogo real boxer and Nada!
I cant believe IdrA diddnt block his ramp completely in g1.. its so ez to set up an awesome arc, with spinecrawler her couldve easily held... and hydras wernt even doing thier job of keeping the ovis away... sigh. I wonder if Zenios build will show up in NA, seems Artosis has played agiasnt it multiple times on the korean ladder. imagine how us protoss fans feel.... Heh, was thinking the same thing. I'm looking at page 1 and its just all ZvZ and TvZ. Protoss is my most played race, and its disappointing to see what should be a powerhouse race get so man handled in the GSL. Maybe blizzard will help us out, maybe not.
Kinda a shame we have a PvP tomorrow =(... I dont think toss has gotten manhandled..
Kyrix is showing us hes surprisingly good, and he was still very lucky to take out HongUnPrime
Tester not qualifying.. =(
Still, youve got Genius and SangHo and Inca...
A protoss is making it into the Ro4.

You guys should feel pretty damn good, the two best remaining players in my opinion (Genius and SangHo) are both Protoss.

I hate how GSL isn't mass televised, I haven't heard anything from it until I read some threads here....wish Blizzard had their own stream or something and restreamed the content at normal times for foreigners...

He just let him come in and contaminate it all 20 mins of the game. Why not build some spore colonies? Their super cheap and would take out those overseers easily.
The whole game is countering the other persons strat. He got beat 1 base vs 2 base because he didnt kill 3 overseers?? If that happened to me the first thing I would do would be either build Hydra (which he did but then didn't leave them guarding the hatch), or build spore colonies.... or am I missing something? The counter to this just seems too easy for a pro gamer to miss. I can't believe he lost with an extra base the entire game. Actually if you notice the time between when he had hydralisk den up and the time he built hydras is huge. He kept droning..... Defiantly game 1 he dug his own grave as you said with not dealing with the overseers. Overseers contaminate is ranged, and they regen hp. They are not easy to kill unless you have a lot of hydras. Other than that, defending his ramp was top priority. If he kept too many hydra in the back, he would lose the front. He could always inject between corruptions. What lost him the game was losing like 5-10 drones to the first roach group. The second battle also had too many roaches Zenios 20 roach + 10 hydra > 10 roach + 20 hydra Hydra are just trash units if anything ever hits them
I can tell from experience that when I built pure roaches vs pure hydras my roaches won, but when my opponent went roach and hydras my roaches lost. I think because if you don't target hydras and let them do tons of dps, behind roaches tanking, you'll lose.

Yea Im sad Idra, Checkprime along with the Fruitdealer are out, but I think alot of you are sleeping on KyrixZenith and his aggressive style.

Well, GomTV lets you have the matches whenever your want. The VODs are all there. And Its actually not a bad time for streaming for us in Europe at least.

I have a feeling protoss is gonna win this gsl, just like how unexpected Zerg won the last one. Im personally rooting for sangho and genius.
|
Hoping SangHo, or Inca/Genius will make it to the finals along with some Terran... I really want to see a PvT final since I've seen so many zerg lately... and I like to have my fellow brotoss represented!
Lets see how well fake BoxeR can do against SangHo... sure to be an interesting match.
|
With Idra and Fruit Dealer down I'm rooting for Loner and fake Boxer. Pretty weird since I have a strong dislike for Terran but fake Boxer steamrolled Fruit Dealer so bad I wouldn't mind seeing him win.

wow artosis sure made a fool out of himself today with all that kyrix bashing
especially after kyrix played so well in ro32
|
Fingers crossed for a Sangho vs. Nada final. Sangho vs. Zenio might also be awesome
Edit: There's a good bracket here, in case anyone else is having a hard time keeping track of who's gonna have to play who:

Though calling them terrible is certainly an exaggeration, I have no sympathy for them because everyone cheers for them here. Sorry but TLO and Idra are not the best players in the world. They are great, but the level of bias in these threads warrants people bringing the rabid fanboys back down to earth when reality kicks in.
I'm perfectly aware they aren't the best in the world, although since the GSL is arguably the only real way of judging who is "best in the world" currently then no-one except Fruit Dealer can claim that title.
What seems off to me is responses such as the other reply to my post stating that "no foreigner will ever get far koreans are better". Judge koreans as individuals just like every western/foreign player is judged rather than as KOREAN BLOC, otherwise it's ignorant. I know most people here probably don't think like this but it is how a lot of the replies come across. Foreigners no doubt need more practice to win the GSL, but so does every other pro who hasn't won it yet.

Guh. IDRAAAAAAAAAAAA Ah well, the loss doesn't feel as bad as last season though because Zenio had phenomenal builds. I guess in my selfish way I am a little happy because we get to see IdrA come stateside again for Dallas! GG's. Hopefully he gets a chance to ladder with some top zergs if zerg continues to do well.
