Yes atleast that.
great looking forward to this, is signups first come first server or wat?
Yes. But it's a 512 man US & CA only tournament so don't think the spots will fill up super fast plus it's on October 1st not now.
This'll be fun to watch, I followed the masters cup 1/2 with quake and CS closely, EG does a good job with these, its really high production quality, and free entertainment, can't wait.

This is super sick i cant wait for this tournament to get under way. I really like the effort all the teams are putting out right now trying to organize solid tournaments.

So what when idra goes back to korea, he plays with lag vs you on the US server or what?
I like how you guys are using Idra as a "last boss" to the tourny as a guardian to epic loot

Do understand that the match with IdrA for the MSI GT660 is an additional opportunity awarded to the winner of the entire tournament.
Edit: First, second, and third place winners still receive cash winnings.
Where in la is the match going to be played at?
Edit: looks like I misread I thought the final 16 and idra match was played on LAN but "live" could just mean live online. Figured it was lan because the article was posted with a LA heading
This going to be fun!
Great event Lucas, should see some rS players involved.
A reminder to everyone that registration opens at midnight, so be sure to register early to guarantee yourself a spot in the tournament.

Actually, IdrA is the pokemon trainer that calls you a "cheesy faggot" for using status moves and tells you to apologize for using that pokemon.

I am kinda surprised that only 84 people have signed up as of this post so far. I know registration goes for a bit longer but still surprising to me expected it to fill out as I wake up today lol .

tourneys with a sign up/register process always do a bit worse.. truly speaks to the laziness at large haha
But if you check the names all the big ones are there.
Going to be amazing even if a lot of people miss out
this runs during MLG is there going to be enough flexability for those of us at mlg? I ask cuz i know All of EG will be there also.
How the hell do you sign up?
Found it.
Only ~86 people signed up so far. No one wants $1K???

Hmm, Day9 mentioned going down to Phoenix to cast the finals. Does this mean a LAN of the finals or is he just casting it from there?

gl hf guys. I think this is gonna be a fun tourny. I'm excited for it.
What day is the actual tournament? I keep getting information that contradicts each other. Do we start our games on Monday(Oct11) or Tuesday(Oct 12)?
I am on auto login at EG. I just clicked my bracket and it gave me all the opponents info at the bottom after the 3rd set information.
I have a real dumb question, if you supposed to be available at 7:45 CDT that would be 8:45 EDT correct? Don't wan't to mess that 1 up..
lol props to whoever took the time out to do the seeding

GL to all participants!
vVv Fighting!

Are we allowed to play the matches slightly earlier or later if agreed upon by both players? I have exams the day of my first match, and while I can probably make it, a slightly larger grace period would be nice :D.

I believe they said you can play your games earlier if you want as long as both agree.
How do we find out our opponents character codes btw?
The site says to contact an admin. who are the admins and their contact info?
EDIT: nm i didnt' click on competion guide.
I'm officially lactose intolerant!!!
Oh well, I have shitload of homework anyway!!! GL to all participants! ^^
Is there going to be a live event for the finals? I heard Day9 say phoenix?
No there is not going to be a live event. The only thing is that top16 will be casted live by Day9 and djWHEAT.

Um match was supposed to be played yesterday, tomorrow is the next one. But last I checked the brackets the 2 people below me who i play one of them next still hadn't reported. I wonder if they both forgot about it

I was wondering this as well, anyone know?
It's not like a LAN or anything, but the commentators (djWHEAT and Day[9] are going to be in Phoenix at Casa de Scoots for the production/casting of the games)
Does anyone know if this tourney can be watched in person? I live in Phoenix and would love to see my first sc2 tourney in person... And of course give day 9 a high five lemme know thx TL
Oh and if I can. Where the hell is it at Phoenix? I can't find any info
It's not a LAN, how many times has this been said T.T
is there a backet for the final 16? yet??
