Having robo tech and 2 bases to pump immortal/collosi with no other tech doesn't work any more... But once you get templar archives and get a few HT's, the game battles become a really fun feedback vs neural parasite micro war with lots of back and forth from both armies, and one slip in concentration can well and truely cost either player the game instantly... Which in my opinion is what sc(broodwar and sc2) is all about :D

how is it more balanced/diverse/dynamic now that robotics units are almost unviable, and you are forced to go HT? that makes no sense ;_:

I just preordered today, the beta key better come in on time. I don't get it, is it a blizzard registration rule or something? Still waiting for the key...

When you activate the key in your battle.net account, you log on to battle.net through the SC2 Beta client and log on using that same battle.net name (your email) and password. From there it asks for a character name - I put the seemingly controversial 'knuffeltje' and then it asks for an identifier, the bit after the full stop, so I put 'aus' to give me the ID 'knuffeltje.aus'

You are forced to go templar WITH robo tech. Templar tech alone will lose to mass roach hydra. Half my games i get templar just for feedback and the rest of my gas is immortal/collosi/upgrades etc...
Before this, while you weren't force to go pure robo tech, it was pretty much better in every aspect compared to templar tech, so there was really no point transitioning over to templar tech when collosi's attack is just a better version of storm anyway.
Either way i dont think it breaks the matchup, just the old playstyle of 2 base 2 robo doesn't rape the crap out of anything zerg can produce on the ground any more.

BETA KEY CONTEST
Celebrating the launch of Australian commentator TobiWanKenobi's new website, WanStop, there will be a beta key competition available to people watching the stream. Three StarCraft II Beta Keys are up for grabs and all you need to do is listen to the SC2 shoutcasts on Sunday night for the TransTasman SC2 Championship.
What you will be listening for is 4 things which need to be included in your submission of a banner for the WanStop webpage to replace the temporary banner on the site. This banner needs to include all four things that are announced in the shoutcasts.
There are 3 keys to give away so the 3 finalists will be awarded the keys, but only one banner will be chosen as the winner. To submit your entry either post a link in a comment on this thread or use the “contact” page on WanStop to submit your entry. The VOD’s will be posted up here on WanStop as well as on www.Gamestah.com so good luck.

I'm keen to join if theres room (reserve)
ecifircas.sua Random NSW - Sydney
Question though what does the below mean from the rules?
Racepicking is allowed, though it two mutually exclusive racepickers meet the ‘main’ race will be used – that is the race that features in most of their matchups. If all 3 races are represented by a racepicker a present admin will choose their race.
(posted in other thread in case too)
|
deL - Filthy told me just now that he won't be able to play. Clearly I'm the next featured sign up (THE GUY THAT HAD TLO PLAY ON HIS ACCOUNT LOL).
First reserve is in then?

(posted in other thread in case too) If you pick races for a specific match up and two people who pick races that can't play each other meet either they organise what matchup to play or if they can't agree they both use the race that features most in their matchups.
e.g. someone plays PvZ, PvP and ZvT other guy playes TvP TvT and PvZ
If they can't decide a matchup to play between themselves then the top guy would have to go with P and the bottom guy would have to be T. Or they could agree to both Random.

UPDATED BRACKET WITH NEW IDs
|
Edit:
Lol question answered in the updated bracket -_- Update the bracket in the opening post if its possible.
|
PLEASE NOTE:
dox.unortho will be playing the following matchups:
PvP, TvZ and TvT
If you are a racepicker or your race is listed wrongly let me know now!

So if your random you can't race-pick?
