Hello there TeamLiquid!
Today I have a build guide for a mid game all in that I've been using on ladder quite frequently, beating players like Violet, RayReign, and puCK.
Build Order:
17 hatch
18 gas
17 pool
@100% pool, 1 pair of lings* to chase off probe, queen in main and natural
@100 gas, ling speed
@100% queen in that natural (33~ supply), 3rd queen and 2nd gas
@100 gas lair
Assuming no unusual early aggression from Toss, continue droning until full 2 base saturation, along with continuous queen production in the natural, and the main once the lair is complete
44 3rd gas
@100% lair, hydra den
@100% hydra den, lurker den
Once fully saturated on 2 bases (around 25% - 50% on on the lurker den) make 6-8 hydras, non-stop queens and lings,
@100% lurker den, 6-8 lurkers and an overseer.
*If overlord scout sees 2 gate adept, add on few more pairs of lings and pull queen from the main to force adepts away and prevent scouting/drone losses
Early game:
The early game is largely the same as a normal game, however, denying Protoss’ ability to scout what you are doing will be key. Using queens and lings, make sure you prevent an adept or probe from scouting the lair morphing in your main, and once ling speed is done, take map control and check your 3rd base location to make sure Protoss isn’t keeping tabs on it with an adept/pylon. Also, begin to rally overlords close to the eventual attack path. Try to keep overlords out of the way enough so they aren’t killed by an early stalker or something of that sort, but close enough so that when it is time, they can be poop creep along the attack path easily.

Mid game:
Once your lair is complete, you have map control with the lings, etc, your main focus should be scouting and making hydras/queens. Once the lurker den is 75-80% complete, start pooping creep along the attack path, and move your hydras/queens to the Protoss’ natural ramp, planting creep tumors along the way.
Things to watch out for:
The only in-meta build that Protoss does that hits before the lurker timing is a fast Resonating Glaives pressure timing. Scouting this is pretty easy, as early on Protoss only makes extra adepts if they are doing a build like this so if a ling or overlord scouts 5+ adepts, make sure you have your hydras and queens ready to go and in position to deal with a build like this. It should be rather easy to hold as you’ll have plenty of hydras and queens out by that time, and on the flip side, Protoss has to delay their robotics tech to do a build like this, so the lurkers should have no contest on the other side of the map.

Execution:
Protoss’ tech is going to greatly determine the approach you should take with the build itself:
If the Protoss opened stargate or twilight, 99.99% of the time won’t have an observer out by the time the lurkers are done, so feel free to walk up the ramp and plop them down right in front of the Protoss wall, and slowly edge forward with the lurkers, moving the ones in the back to the front, etc. using queens to transfuse when necessary.
If Protoss opens robotics tech, or with a lot of pheonix, you’re going to have to take it more slowly, using an overseer to get high ground vision and pick away at Protoss wall, inching the lurkers forward as their army backs away. Vs robo there is no threat of phoenixes killing your overseer, so you can try to snipe any observers with the queens as well.

Maps:
The perfect map for this build has a short rush distance, and a low ground natural with a wide ramp. Therefore, the best maps for this build are: Prion (especially with the gold natural), Lerilak close spawns (although even cross spawns isn’t that bad), close spawns Central.
Ulrena looks like it would be a good map on paper, however, if Protoss can scout what you are doing, and makes enough sentries to FF off the middle choke, you may be out of luck.
Side Notes:
If, for whatever reason, you can’t break the Protoss but are able to contain them to 2 bases, I’ve found considerable success doing a 2 base contain while teching to mutas off of 3 bases, and then using mutas/lurkers/queens to finish the game.
On big maps like Ruins of Seras, a nydus variate is possible (see replay vs Bran) where you take a 4th gas when lair complete, and get a nydus when the lurker den is 50% complete. The caveat is obviously that the nydus is very expensive, however, you can reinforce much faster through a nydus than even a creep highway.
