Heavy lings, both upgrades, + mass queen into hive/infestors. Seems like you can't move out of your base unless you are dropping and that doesn't do anything most of the time. by the time you can move out with an army hive tech is out. What should my army composition be? Do you just have to hit the timing before hive perfectly without losing any units because if that's the case that's really boring and frustrating especially on long maps. Masters here. | ||

Masters here. hitting a timing is good and should always be done but you don't necessarily have to kill him, just deny creep/bases and force him to spend gas on units while you prepare your ghost/liberator lategame. and dropping can be really good to you just have to combine the drop with some pressure with your army or he will have an easy time defending it. | ||

Masters here. its not really standard in the meta but if you are playing against it alot going marine helbat would destroy this composition. with the regular 5 min double medivac timing you should be able to atleast deny creep. if you do it with the byun hellbat timing you should be able to kill their third base. no amount of lings can beat marine hellbat with good positioning | ||

I have been having decent succes against mass ling/ mass ling/bane styles by adding a second factory and researching drilling claws to produce mines 3 at a time. Instead of adding 3 rax to go to a total of 8 , i instead get 2nd factory and 2 raxes. | ||

Has anyone got any 3.8 BOs yet? Not sure what I want to go but based on the changes I'd like to try something with cyclones. Particularly in TvP. TvZ I'll probably just go the same BOs I did before, and just not pick up my tanks (I still like tanks) TvP is there a good early cyclone BO? Is it still just a transition into MMM later or is mech actually good in this matchup now? TvT I have absolutely no idea, what are you guys doing, or planning to do? I am excited! | ||

TvP will probably remain pretty similar minus the flexibility we had with tank pushes. I'm thinking I'm either going to be playing very greedy or super aggressive with 5 rax before getting my third in an attempt to expand while trying to kill off their expo. TvT will probably be a lot of mech, some bio tank vs bio tank, and in general pretty similar to end of hots TvT but with potentially earlier switches to Sky Terran. | ||
