Awesome! So, how about a chart that maps max supply vs used supply? The intersections will be supply caps and the shaded regions will tell you whether you got supply blocked right before, during, or after a battle! Plus, you can derive "supply efficiency" from that! :D
EDIT: also maybe a feedback button on ggtracker itself that links to uservoice or a feedback form on ggtracker would be nice if you want more feedback!

I finally beat my first Masters player, yayayayay! :D
I know it isn't very professional or anything to do this, but I had to get this off my chest lol.

Good ideas thanks! There is a feedback button on most pages, in the lower-right hand corner.

Hey, I appreciate your work and creativity with creating The Staircase. Concentrating on macro and economy has really helped me to get involved into Starcraft again - and what's more important to put fun into it again. Copying builds felt lifeless to me, it was like copying sounds a Chinese person makes without learning the language itself. Thanks, great work!

I'm a little confused about protoss, Gas is unlocked at step 2 but some of the given units requires gas. What is up with that? I feel the MSC would be kinda good to have! Now I know I can do whatever I want but I'm curious about the reasoning

Step 1 is minerals only. This is the only restriction for Step 1. You are allowed to do anything you can without gas. That means no MsC or observers for Step 1.

I'm on step 0, I can't find Creep or Die on the Arcade. I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. I'm on EU.

Creep or Die isn't on EU yet. :/

Or you could switch to AM server?

Ive played 7 games as zerg against hard/harder AI doing step 1. I havent played sc2 in over a year, and always played toss, but thought this seemed like an interesting experiment. At first I was terrible and got slaughtered, but a-move lings when you hit your injects turns out to be so much stuff I ended up winning. It felt like cheating using extra queens as mineral dumps, but it was really hard to get the right number of macro hatches so I could just build lings. I am enjoying the process so far, thanks for doing this!

@Anty That sucks
@hezmana glad you're having a good time :D

Hi, I'm trying this out but I can't find the actual numbers of the benchmarks to compare with my replays and the spreadsheet says coming soon and * for zerg.

I think the amount of "forever bronze" players will go down to almost zero now.. except the ppl that are inactive of course,
the ppl that are like " im to bad / i get frustrated when i lose so i stop playing for a while" type of players will easily go up in rank.
Ive 2 times already gone up to for example platinum.. and if theres any bronze players here, that wonders if it was hard.. id say no.
the first time , i went bronze>platinum i played for 3hours straight and it took me 13 Total games to get to platinum.
and last time (2 days ago) it took me 12 games from silver>platinum, so its super easy.. ive met alot of platinum players that play and act like bronze players, so its not hard at all anymore, it was hard in hots, took long sometimes. But i dont think ill see a bronze league player with 5000 games and still in bronze ever again.
(Sorry if this made no sense, its 4am and im tired so my english sucks lol)

@Kfish Use Spending Skill and Hard Supply Blocks for now. We recently learned that other things aren't so important.

I have friends who are Bronze with 3000+ games played And my GF can't get to platinum even if she's got a reaaallly good macro (don't know how). (I'm amazed at a gold player with 85% inject, 10seconds max supply block and GM spending skill) but... still in gold. And she plays 6 to 8games a day...

going from bronze to plat when you're a platinium player may be easy, going from bronze to plat if you're a bronze player is a completely different story.

True. I'm plat and got 8games in gold after placement match to get top plat.
